I don't believe it is bollix, but I worry that a lot of impressionable teens are trying to be edgy by bracketing themselves into these new cool labels.

Is ADHD a load of bollix.....sometimes isnt it just that .... well.....Mrs O'Brien....your child is thick as sh1t?
I think it's an excuse for children who behave badly. I know of one mother who lets her child away with murder "because he has a disability" It drives me ****ing mad because i have a ****ing disability that means some days I'm bed ridden and am in constant pain but sure I might as well act like a spoilt brat because it's practically the same thing.

How did this thread get so serious all of a sudden?

Oh my God, it's definitely important to bring her to a doctor or something those kinds of things can be hard to process your GP will have the best advice

I once came Upto the scene of a gangland shooting when I was 18 (wasn't fatal...lot of blood) and a friend was two tables over from a fatal shooting in a pub in Dublin one night aswell

I'd say just handle it carefully and not overthink it.....if it's still causing issues in a week or 2....get professional help

    ..could you kill someone

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,160 ✭✭✭Felix Jones is God

Depends on her age, she will need counselling anyway, people like CAHMS are very good, your GP could maybe refer you to someone in the locality who can give her the attention she needs

@Tom, yes, if the situation ever called for it

    Could you ?

The last time I stood on one I fell off within seconds and thought I'd broken my arm. Hoors of things.

Ever hung a picture to hide a mark or hole in the wall behind it?
