PAYG sim in bill phone

Hi Is it possible to put a PAYG sim in a bill pay phone. I have a bill phone and I want to give it to my mother. She doesn't want a bill as she is used to the PAYG system and doesn't use it that much for calls. Thanks.

Yes. Should be fine.

If the phone is locked to a network then a PAYG from that network should work. If unlocked then any PAYG sim should work.
