    81 from 8

After the last 3 weeks that I have endured, I feel I deserved that :)

Actually, that 81 is more than my last 3 weeks combined (81 vs 69)

I have Chadli(2) subbing in for Walcott with Allen and Stone Cold Charlie Austin still to play.

Ranking has gone from 1.4 million to 450k

There is a lot to be learnt from this, one good gameweek can really undo some damage from a few bad gameweeks, especially in the previous gameweeks which were quite low scoring all round. So even if things are going pear shaped, a couple of well timed transfers or a bit of luck etc. can quickly turn things around

44 points but with a lesser spotted Big Rom with the armband to hopefully achieve parity for the week.

Although quite frankly I don't deserve it after taking it off Sergio. At least I have him and Sanchez though. Only fell 6K to 216k so here's to the Lukaku vs West Ham thing going well tomorrow.

Same points and in the same situation.. captained Lukaku over Aguero.. are we mad!!!

58 (-4) from 6. Fuchs will sub in for Valencia..which is annoying.

Firmino keep your fcking shirt on son. None of that crap in my team.

Have I mentioned that Capoue is a defensive mid who rarely goes forward. ;)

61 with Cameron, Shaqiri, Austin and Costa to go. Valencia not playing was a real bummer. Also, wtf with the Coutinho lack of bps?

69 (-4) with Austin, Lukaku, Allen and Pieters to go

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,222 ✭✭✭Calvin

66 (-4) with Lukaku (C) and one of Amat/Hojberg to come in for Walcott. Probably my best week so far this season.

73 with Lukaku and Pieters to go, and Capoue's 3 to come in as Walcott didn't play. Top 50k on the GW and green arrows all around. Best GW of the season by a mile

79 all out and very surprised to see such a low average overall but I understand the average on here would be a lot higher.

I'm glad everyone hasn't got boards level scores! Really need a Sunday saver this week.

58 with Lukaku (c) and Antonio left.

Please don't troll me (yet again!) Romelu..pretty please?

60 with Williams, Austin, Pieters, Grant and Kingsley to play.

Just need a 0-0 in the MNF to make it a really excellent week!

    Everything rests on Lukaku.

Going by past experience, that's not a good place to be.

IbRa falling last night was one last kick in the balls from yday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

Though 58 was a good score and was surprised to see that it was only 500k weekly rank. Then fond I'm getting my arse kicked in h2hs and the scores in this thread.

I think Tom Heaton is making the difference between 60odd and 70+ for many people. That and not getting the corresponding Valencia CS in my case.

What you doing with him? I'm waiting to see if Swansea's defensive revolution is for real or not.

I may as well wait till tomorrow night now
I need coutinho or firmino by next week
I can raise loads of cash by selling Ibra for Austin BUT if bony is useless tomorrow night I could with a -4 also get coutinho by selling him

Is this...is this what points feel like?

61 with Williams and Costa to play. Up to 374k which tells you something about my season so far, but at least I have repaired most of the damage of last week's travesty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,267 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

64(-4) with hopefully Cameron to go, Amat not likely to come in for Valencia which is annoying, so won't be fielding XI this week by the looks (also my -4 involved already getting out non-playing Monreal and Walcott!). How and ever, a green arrow and nice to arrest the slide. Have the fear today though with none of Rom/Costa/Austin. Stay quiet please, boys

I'm on 52 so far. I should have went with my gut and transferred Valencia out I mentioned on here that Valencia not taking throw ins against city was worrying. Why could Jose not have said he was injured on Friday. Heaton outscoring cech by 10 pts is also hard to believe. Bad mistake on my part not having heaton in my team.

Any chance Pieters doesn't play tomorrow evening? Friend's 7 points from the bench would be most welcome.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,911 ✭✭✭tailgunner

66 (-8) with Pieters to go. First good week in ages. Could have been a great week if I hadn't benched Heaton, but I don't think anyone saw that haul coming!

opinions on gundogan a likely starter?
would it be foolish to downgrade sterling to him for 2.7m cash

Been mentioned a few times when KDB plays he returns to being at more the defensive end of things more often.

I said that in my original post, I didn't want United to win the game as I support a rival team. I captained him because I thought he'd score, and he certainly got the chances to, but I sure as he'll didn't want him to! Very glad he blanked since that meant that they dropped points. Had he scored they would have certainly gone on to win the game

Captaining the player who I think is going to score the most is the definition of FF logic.

If I refused to captain or pick a player because of team allegiances then that's bizarre FF logic.

Whether I want him to score or not has no bearing on FF or the game itself, but I'm picking the player I think will score most from a FF point of view regardless of how I feel about that player/team
