    Don't worry there's a week lock on when you can mark it as not received anyway. I'll hold off for as long as it takes you to resolve the issue. I'm in no rush.

    Seems a bit harsh to go and mark something not received for something that was just a mistake. Id be more willing to let it slide with people on here especially if it was clearly an innocent mistake. You were getting the key for free anyway.

    Either way, one of thems going to end up in SteamGift trouble over it, I wouldn't take the fall for anyone else.

    Similar has happened to me, I just bought a new key and sent it to the winner but I got banned over not using keys I won last year, I imagine they'll jump on Robert faster for not marking the game at all

    And if you win a game and mark as received, yet its not on your account, if caught, its a permanent ban. So id mark as not received and not risk a perma ban

    You can submit a ticket to steamgifts explaining the situation. Might help both parties in this situation.

    Better ban me then. There was at least one key I sent to a friend in Saudi Arabia because of her limited budget and she wanted the game.

    They let you redeem yourself by buying the game yourself and activating it. If you really want to. It's not something they actively look for, it's usually reports from other users.

    Sorry about all the off topic posts arising from my last giveaway. It seems that there was a glitch somewhere between Steamgifts and Steam when UberPrinny_Baal went to activate the key for Prison Architect, it was already in his Steam account but it seems to have assigned the key to him anyway. This is why robertninja couldn't activate it. I have opened a support ticket explaining the situation so hopefully it can be resolved soon.

    Remember to always activate your game, I've just been ht with suspensions.

    Quick question....I have a Gears of War 4 key that I won't use. Is there a way that I can use this group to offer it? It looks like that I can use SteamGifts but as the game is not available on Steam I'd have to choose a different game from the dropdown list. That sound okay?

    Definitely don't do that. If the user marked it as received then they could get banned for not activating the game they won (the one you set the giveaway as).

    Just get people to thank a post on here then use a random number generator to pick the winner from those that thanked it. That's how folks have been doing it on the xbox forum anyway.

    There's something like 350 hours of gameplay in Witcher 3 and the addons, so I reckon that's the last we'll see of you for a few weeks.
