    There politeness,

Put your hands behind your back sir,
    move along there Madame.
    where ya all from,

And you all have a nice day ya here

I don't know whether its cringe worthy or embarrassment as I don't have that politeness in all situation's.

Most of it. The loudness, the OTT nature of practically everything they do, from Halloween to discussing their feelings, how the seem oblivious to a whole world existing outside the states, the horse veneers.
The undercurrent of paranoia that seems to run through the culture. The guns are but an obvious symptom of that. The American Dream©. The well trodden meme that Breaking Bad wouldn't play out as a narrative in most civilised countries, because Walter White's cancer treatment costs wouldn't require him to become a drug manufacturer and supplier.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

    St.pattys day.....

They say patty instead of paddy over there.

They also use the slur mick. That developed from the yanks inability to pronounce the Mc surnames.

Instead of saying "next please" they say "the following guest?"

    Wtf?!

It's just the phony way it's said. Every shop you go into "have a nice day". In every shop I was in, I was just looking and they'd be straight over. I was thinking "would you just let me look at the stuff"

    Also "good job"

Just back from the US, can't say there is anything about their culture that annoyed me.

Do they really? I've never heard it. Maybe it's an east Coast thing?

The pattys day thing does annoy me but they seem to think 'paddy' is offensive so they spell it patty which sounds the same anyway.

    Safe spaces
    Trigger-words
The position of sports in universities
The infantilisation of adults (you're a kid until you're 30+)
Censorious attitude to recreational drugs (e.g. pot and alcohol), profanity and nudity (they specifically mention the more "casual" attitude of Europeans)
    The Bible belt
Banning Harry Potter and To Kill a Mockingbird in schools.
Capitalist democracy (the best candidate is the one with the most to spend!)
    American "cuisine"
    Defining class by wage packet
    If you're not 1st you're a loser

WTF is the deal with all the cultural cringe threads?!? If stuff makes you cringe, don't participate. If it doesn't make the people who participate cringe, what harm?

As far as I know, trick or treat isn't American

It is. The Irish Halloween tradition is to sing.

"Good Jawb", "That's what I'm talkin' about"
    Guns, huntin'
Restaurants with basketball, baseball, "football" as the floor show.

The position of sports in universities

Ah now, that's probably the best thing they do. I'm always astounded at the full stadiums for the high school/college football, basketball etc. When we were going for provincial/national tournaments back in secondary school it would have been quality to have actual interested locals at the games as opposed to a load of teenagers who were just there to get out of a few classes.

My younger brother got a free degree from them because he's quite decent at the soccer ball - not quite as good as his older brother but that's a topic for a different day ;)

    1) Tipping

Their tipping culture is obnoxious and 'in your face'.

Simply pay your staff a living minimum wage.

    2) Guns. No country is obsessed with guns like the USA. The bears, wolves, Redcoats and Injuns are gone!!!! A private citizen doesn't need a weapon or arsenal.

    3) Poor social protection..... maternity leave is almost zero. People having to work two or three jobs to pay the mortgage on an average house.
