Additional Income

    Hi All,

I'm just looking for some advice on declaring additional income for tax purposes. I have spent a long time reading up on this, and just ended up more confused.

I currently work on a PAYE service full time. Outside of this I do some private work, through which I have so far earned less than 3000 euro since January 2016.

I am wondering how I go about declaring this and paying tax as appropriate? I am registered with revenue.ie already, but find this whole system rather confusing.

Do I need to fill in a form 12? or can I declare this as an addition income?

I really appreciate any help regarding this.

As the tax year 2016 is still an active tax year it's an E Form 12 next year assuming 2016 is your first year and you keep taxable profit below 5000 euro.
