Haven't captained him since the DGW33 TC debacle, but the armband is on Big Rom. Deeney VC

Would love to put it on Walcott or Sanchez as Sunderland are muck and those 2 are better away from home against teams that come onto them.
But Sunderland won't come onto them, I can imagine it being a wet and/or windy day making it difficult to keep the ball on the floor and it's an early kick off - nerves would be shot for the day if it did not go right.

Therefore - it's between Lukaku and Deeney. Tempted by Deeney as West Hams defence is improving.

Zlatan. Mega score or mega spread his money around several weeks too late.

Against a Hammers side with 2 CS from their last 2?

Really unsure who to captain myself, Firmino or Aguero in my thoughts for now. Sanchez/Walcott tempting but they couldn't score v Boro and it would be typical Moyes (and typical Arsenal) for an upset to be on the cards here

I captained kun for gameweek 9 and warned people not to follow me.

Well people, i'm doing it again!

    YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Not going to post the stats a la that DGW, but suffice it to say that Lukaku has a great scoring record against West Ham and has just returned at the Etihad and Fortress Moor.
My captain score this season is so bad I fully expect him to troll me

    Lukaku.

Another vote for Big Rom here. Tough decision though what with Arsenal playing Sunderland.

Lukaku vs West Ham is another of the "things" I believe in.

Just like GW8 Aguero, Spurs vs Aguero and PVA DGW37.

I truly hope that Big Rom can restore my faith in the things I believe.....not that I'll captain him necessarily but still.

A repeat of last year's fixture please. Goal and assist for both Payet and Lukaku (I think)..Lukaku's penalty miss took the gloss off though.

    I'm thinking Deeney

Lukaku is a scoring machine against us - he has something like 8 goals in eight or nine games.

Dare I make the ballsy move of putting it on Pieters as a CB.....

    What's your reasoning?

    Most as a differential.

    But it's a poor one. I have Sanchez/Costa/Aguero/Chadli/Lallana/Wilson/Snodgrass

And I honestly can't see any of them getting higher points than defender :pac:

dont do it. If it goes well pieters may outscore sanchez by 4 pts. If it goes wrong sanchez could outscore pieters by 15 pts.

True, also just got rid of Snodgrass to Coutinho, so another option there.

Then there is Rashford vs Burnley that would be a differential.

Deeney for me....I'll be watching the Arsenal match through my fingers though!

Lukaku at the moment, might switch to Theo by the weekend though

I probably won't do it but I'm contemplating putting the C on Holebas.

Looking like Lukaku for me...I've almost forgotten the trauma of the DGW fiasco last season so time to give him another chance

    Deeney atm.

Haha...I think my Double Game Week Triple Captain Carroll Fail later in the season might have dulled my memory of the Lukaku misfire

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,267 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Firmino

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,969 ✭✭✭✭alchemist33

    Haven't a ball's notion.

But since I'm probably bringing him in, Deeney.

Switched to Sanchez(c) with the Theo news. Not rational, but it's a big chance to put points into people that went Theo and no Sanchez.
