Switched to Sanchez(c) with the Theo news. Not rational, but it's a big chance to put points into people that went Theo and no Sanchez.

    Same

Hadn't thought of it that way, might do the same myself so.

    Yeah, was thinking the same.

Any chance Giroud might come in I wonder?

Of course there is the counter argument that says Sanchez is less likely to score or assist without Theo. Just saying... ;)

Was on Lukaku and think I've leave it there now.

Would be surprised if Giroud started, Ox is flying in CL and EFL Cup with goals and is a like for like switch. I think a Giroud cameo is more likely to build up fitness levels

It's actually probably better, Theo has been drifting in and occupying central areas that have led to easy goals like against Swansea. Only Sanchez's goals against Watford and Hull have come from Theo assists

The voice in my head telling me Capoue vs Hull just won't go away.......

    But probably Sanchez !!!

I can't be the only one who pronounces Ozil like that can I, anyway I've already changed my mind I've bought in Deeney for a one week punt, may as well give him the armband.

Ibra is hardly a punt! Walcott may miss the game see the injuries thread, Capoue nah not really done anything in weeks, Costa yea I can see him scoring alright.

Ibra at home to Burnley i wouldn't call a punt. If you own him, you have to captain him this week i.m.o.

changed from Firmino to Sanchez myself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,262 ✭✭✭iroced

I have no inspiration at all. I generally suck at captains anyway  :pac:...

So by default, it kinda has to be Alexis Sanchez right?!

    - edit -
Crazy that MU's Ibra home to Burnley is so low...
I guess not many still have him but the lack of United options for a home game vs Burnley is a testimony of their (MU & Mourinho) downfall. Watch them score 5 now :pac:...

Shouldn't you be captaining a Stoke player ;)?

True, I'm hoping Rashford starts and causes havoc, capt on Sanchez though

    Yeah but

    1) my MNF (C) theory (well it's not a theory, it's facts :D) works for obvious enough captains. Not sure who currently fits the bill at Stoke. Arnie? A couple of years ago, I'd have been tempted by Walters who's mostly be a great player for me in the game.

    2) I only own Whelan :p...

I've Shaq and bony and it's tempting BUT I won't be watching as it's Halloween so I won't bother :D
It would probably be bony out of those 2 anyway so I'm prob better off

I can see Stoke being a bingo roulette a-la Liverpool as to how the points are dished out - Bony-Arnie-Allen-Shaq take your pick and prepare to be trolled

    :D

I've a feeling I've got my points from shaq
If arnie was not on 4 yellows I'd even be considering switching
Shaq got 3 goals all last season ! Although it was his first in the league . He is more of an assist mans hence the million price difference . He could easily have had 2/3 assists on tops of the goals the last day !

Dunno. I think Arnie will wrestle control of things there.

I've gone off Shaq now and leaning towards Chadli instead. Can see him getting some joy against that City defence and then he has 3 nice fixtures after Leicester away.

    Just seen this on twitter
    Raw Pulis
Stoke: 188 goals in 190 games
Palace: 26 goals in 26 games
WBA: 63 goals in 65 games

    "Will we see goals?"
    "You may see a goal"

I dunno, I think Swansea may have turned a corner, could be a cagey 1-0 to Stoke.

what do ye think about sanchez? Ive had him the last 3 gameweeks all poor returns.
But I'm a bit reluctant to take the armband off him!!
One goal and could be talking 22 points

All week I was everyone but Aguero. Guess who I'm slowly moving towards.

Dear God, how did I end up with Lukaku as captain?!

    This can't end well....can it? :)

I have Aguero/Sanchez/Lukaku and was going to do a Deeney for a differential, but reckon the 3 of these will split the armbands anyway. Any one of them goes mad it's going to be a differential.
