    What were they?

Omanyte, Dragonair and Dugtrio. The Dragonair and Dugtrio I'll get over cos I can walk for them, but really annoyed about the Omanyte. Had never seen a shadow of one before :(

Is there a good time to visit bull island or is it totally random? Never got anything really great there. Couple of starters is about it

How are the starters not good? I'm only missing Venusaur from the Pokedex and have 250+km still to walk for it!

Bull Island depends on a lot of luck with your timing. I've been there and caught Graveler, Charizard, Ivysaur, Lapras, Magmar, Electabuzz, Scyther, missed a Dragonair and then there's load of others of all types not just water that spawn. Never been able to pin down a perfect time to go but I would recommend putting an incense on if you're going to be there for more than half an hour.

What part of Bull Island are you going to? For anybody going to Bull Island the coast road between the 2 entrances is closed till sometime in November.

Never seen a Dragonair around Waterford before, very rare, only ever evolved one. If the weathers ok tomorrow I plan on getting a around town for a good few hours, hopefully can get one of those Grimers up by Aldi - there was actually a Dragonite up there during the week, seen a few people post on the Waterford PG facebook page

Had a Blastoise pop up in Mitchelstown square whilst I was on the bus yday...absolutely sickening sitting there not being able to chase after him!

I'll be up there next weekend and the Sq. is within range of the wife's home place. Always good for spawns, hopefully something else on Blastoise level pops up!

Never saw a Dragonair either. It was on the Quay somewhere between the bridge and the bus station. I came down Bridge St and when it popped up on my nearby list I headed down the Quay, but between dodging between traffic and trying to cover the area, he was gone in no time!

Might go check out Aldi again if there's a chance of a Dragonite! Although it's so random with times I might nearly have to camp out in different locations for hours at a time :P

Yup, I'm only ever going through there on the bus..best I caught there was a few starters in the square and a koffing. Was surprised when I saw the Blastoise shadow appear! Knowing my luck, he was probably sitting at the top of the square, just centimetres outside my range.

Is anyone else just getting really fed up with the game? I mean, I love Pokemon but I haven't budged level wise in months, there's no gyms or stops anywhere near me, the gps acts the maggot 90% of the time, the distance tracker is very delayed. I was going to go for a walk through town the last day to hatch eggs and get a few balls. I parked up, turned on the game, and spent the next 20 mins trying to get it to realise that I wasn't standing in the middle of the river, or on the other side of town, or anywhere except where I actually was and I was getting loads of warnings for going too fast when I hadn't even moved. I just gave up and drove home again. Every time I open the game at home when I do have Pokeballs, I'm standing half a mile down the road from where I actually am. I've gone a week without opening the app and I don't even miss it...

Just saw a weird thing in Longford today. Three gyms (two red, one yellow) all got cleared out at the exact same time. Thing is, nothing was put in to those gyms afterwards. I was standing at one of the gyms, which is in a pretty open area (it's on a bridge) and there was nobody there, so I assumed it was GPS spoofing, but because nothing was put in to the gym after it was cleared, I had no idea what the point was.

It was probably just for XP. I did something similar earlier today, minus the spoofing. When you've already claimed your coins for the day and you're going to be in the area for a while it's better to leave the gym empty.

The empty Gym will be claimed by someone, ideally from an opposing team. If they take it then you can battle again for more XP. A passing opposing team player is more likely to drop a pokemon in to an empty Gym than to battle to claim it. You also save a revive and a potion if the Gym is taken before the 21hrs are up or before you leave the area.

If your team do take it then you can take one of the other 2 slots anyway and with an extra pokemon it's a little more secure.

What the best way to use lure modules? Should I be throwing one up on 2 or 3 nearby pokestops, or does more actually make it better than just one?

I think Tymon Park, Dublin 12 just might be an Exeggcute nest...

There was still one in my Sightings after catching these three!

As it happens, I have a few hours free this afternoon and am going to make the pilgrimage. Noted re. the closed road, but which entrance would people recommend to start on?

Caught all those Exeggcutes this morning then found my first ever wild evolved Eevee (Rathfarnham SC) and a couple of nice 10k hatches to boot. Quite a good PoGo kind of day I'd say.

When they are incubators they are ordered 2km-5km-10km. Not sure what order they take after that, some people say it's by pokedex number of the Pokémon inside but I don't know about that.

i think they are organised by name

No chansey. In the space of an hour I've added five new entries to the the pokedex, such a worthwhile trip.

Hatched a Chancey and Magmar within seconds of each other last night, both new entries beinging me up to 133/137.

Not ashamed to say I did two little fistpumps. :pac:

Why 137? There are 142 Pokemon to capture, excluding region exclusives outside Ireland and Legendary. Are you not including ones you can hatch from eggs or something?

Your pokedex only shows up to the highest numbered Mon you have so presumably porygon is his/her highest.

Mine ends up at 149 at my dragonite. I thought there were one or two after?

There are; #150: Mewtwo, #151: Mew. Since they're Legendary, and can't be caught yet, they don't factor into any calculation most people go by.

I assume Randomfriend means he has 132 caught, 137 seen. No?

From my experience only use multiple lures if you can capture from them without moving.
But they scrape their mons from spawn points and nest near by.
So I save my lures for trips abroad.
