I'd be interested in taking a trip out myself. I went out there two days ago and it was a very worthwhile trip. Only downside is that the road via Fairview is closed for construction which makes my trip that bit longer!

Right an executive decision has been made. I'm getting in the car now and heading out to Bull Island. If anyone sees me give me a wave. I'll be in a black BMW or if I'm walking a blue rain jacket. The phone in hand should be a giveaway also!

Wish we could trade or discard eggs - just picked up my 5th 10km in the last two days - I really don't need them anymore! I want the 5km to try and get that Grimer, 2km for Charmander and Bulbasaur

2 10kms hatched today....Pinsir.....and SNORLAX!! about time. Lick and body slam tho but I don't care. All I need now is lapras and chancey and that is all the new ones eggs can give me, regionals aside.will be a big buddy grind from there on in.

I'd gladly swap my 5ks with ya. Have 9 currently. Is all I seem to get. The odd 2k and 10k.

I think the update was the last nail in the coffin for gym competition around here. The three gyms closest to me used to be able to hold off the dominant team and just rotate through the different teams even when everything in the surrounding area was all theirs, but now they have a foothold so quick. Level 4+ really quickly when it would be rare before. The rich got richer basically, not sure what they were going for with that update. I hope its been beneficial in other areas with other situations because its basically shut me out of any fighting or earning any coins.

Limerick has gone completely Valor since the update, not that I'm complaining, in 9 gyms at the moment :pac:

Ok I've been away from it all for a bit.

When they say there's a reward for catching amounts of specific types ..... what are the rewards? I've looked and nowhere says what they are?

I've looked about trying it but didn't in fear of a ban but it seems to be working for you!

One of the latest updates (0.42.1) introduced a Capture bonus. Essentially, the more of a certain type of Pokemon you capture, the easier that type is to catch as you gain a +1, +2 or +3 Capture bonus. I don't believe there's any concrete info on what the % of the bonus is but the Italian localisation has it at 3% for +3.

Have caught a Grimer near Aldi in the Glen the past two days. Different times but the same spot, at the bottle bank across from Aldi.

The highest cp Grimer I've got though has been 240, dunno if I'm having bad luck or if that's what they are in the wild...

Im using an app called fly gps. Sometimes get a soft ban which lasts for a couple of hours. The trick is not to jump large distances in short periouds of time

I caught a 508 CP Grimer yesterday at lv29 and a 543 CP one last month.

What times? Don't care if it's only 10CP, just need to catch one of the feckers now

Thursday morning was between 9:10 and 9:30am, then Friday afternoon was just before 4pm.

I checked out fly gps and none of the ones I've checked would even let me change my GPS. Then tried gps go and I got to Eyre square but it a drowsee pidgeotto and venonat all got out of great balls with only okish CP. Did you have similar problems or am I using the wrong app?

Grimer keeps coming up in my sightings but I've no idea where the new spawn points are in my area.

I threw an incense and an Abra spawned with a pidgee inside its belly. Whenever I tapped on the Abra the pidgee catch screen opened. I said whatever, catch the pidgee then the Abra. Pidgee ran after one ball and the Abra disappeared. I know incense spawns only last a couple of minutes but it was still way too short. Has anyone else had a twofer like this?

Went on hols.
Finally got a charmander, evolved my rhyhorn into a cartoon looking dude, Persian, one manky away from primeape, sandslash, arbok,dugtrio.I need a few more ponyta now as well and i got some doduo but need more
Walking my jigglypuff around but i need loads more!
Caught my first abra also, and onix and kabuto
Oh and machoke!
Now i only need a million more for machamp...

I've just noticed the growl in growlithe... Ben wondering what grow lithe meant for ages!

Went for a 45 minute hunt and found 0 mons. Arrived home and machop was waiting in the house. Never going outside again!
