Can you visit a tax office to discuss your tax affairs?

Or is it telephone enquiries only?

I've just taken early retirement and my tiny pension is being taxed way too much. Can I call into the office in Mount St to discuss this or do I have to ring them?

Also, where do I sign on for tax credits? I don't know anything at all about this :o

Have you contacted the PAYE section to have your tax credits allocated to your pension?

    Phone is probably best.

Mount Street doesn't have a public office per the contact details of the website. Cathedral Street seems to be the place to go.

Also you can register your new pension online to have your tax credits and standard rate band allocated to it.
