A question regarding max CP. I have powered my Snorlax up to the max of the rainbow bar, cp1854. It now says my trainer level is too low for more. Is this the default message for when you have it the max, or will it give me some more space when I hit level 21?

Finally hit level 30, as wll as the charmander spawn near my house, things are looking up! Also max revives and 3x incubators is sweet

Haha to be quite honest, I haven't a clue either! I've just seen it mentioned here over and over that it's a bad moveset. I'm playing with the little lad, so we are more about collecting them really, but he does like to take down a gym whenever we pass them. I'll find out tomorrow just how bad he really is

yea the max CP goes up every time you level, so you'll be able to up it 2 or 3 times again each level.

I find Hydro pump charges up much quicker than 5 twisters, plus by the time you have enough charge for 5 twisters you're likely on your ass for the special move you're up against. Also there's the short lag to discharge the move. Certainly in my experience 5 twisters does not equal one Hydro pump, but I'm not that big into the gym thing, just my experience.

It comes down to animation time which in turn leads to a drop in dps (damage per second) basically it takes much much longer to hit 5 twisters than 1 hydropump. Plus while the animation is in play you are unable to dodge the defender. So if they hit you with blizzard or solar beam or thunder, you are basically toast.

Gyarydos' primary attack is incredibly fast. This us what makes it a good attacker.

I do love battle mechanics.

You in dublin? Son has me driven crazy his friend geospoofed onto bull island golf course last week and caught heaps of charmanders hes only a couple of a charizard.. going to head out saturday looking.. havent caught anythin new in a while seem to be stuck!

Another Friday, another 10km egg!

Apparently there's a new warning message about using tracking sites. Says they can detect the use of them on your phone, you get one warning and then a permanent ban.
I wish they put as much effort into adding updates as they do into removing users of third party apps

Have to see how that gym update shakes out. I'm not sure I like the sound of it though. I already see level 10 valor gyms near me for days on end since more and more players started dropping off. Sounds like it will just be easier for them to maintain that now with training. And thats bad for everyone, not just the other two teams, but everyone on valor beyond the 10 guys already in there collecting coins day after day.

They are spawning at the blessington street basin, but only a couple of times a day at about 7 minutes past the hour, good luck! Maybe check out fastpokemap to see if you can see a pattern. It seems a bit dodgy atm though.

At the current setup it is much, much easier to bring down a gym than to maintain it, since you can bring in 6 mons with type / moveset advantages. By myself I can take down lvl8 - lvl10 gyms in 15mins (unless they have 8 snorlaxes which atm I don't have enough mons with that type advantage).

Taking a prestige up is way more difficult: you either need to go on a group raid, bubblestrat, or spend 30mins increasing it if you're late for the party, e.g. level up from 7 to 10.

Valors I believe might outnumber the other teams in your area or might just be more active.

Just reported a player who was using multiple accounts to buff up gym levels to the point where it's near impossible to take it back. They had 5 Pokemon in one level 7 gym, and another 5 in a level 6.

Edit: and another 4 in a level 5 gym. They've stacked 3 of the 4 gyms here.

How could you have multiple accounts with the ability to hold gyms?
It's taken a fair bit of effort for me to reach 28, and I get kick out of gyms daily.
What level are these accounts?

Exactly. I'm in a group who does gym raids quite often and do it after office hours so in our area its a pretty common site to see lvl7+ once we're done. A lot of bot accounts have already been banned (and unfortunately legit players on rooted phones) so there's a really small Chancey that they are from bot accts and the idea of it being multiple accts from a single person is a bit FarFetch'd.

Lowest is 15, highest is 27. And in a quiet enough area like Longford it's not hard if you're gaming the system like this, they've got several Snorlax and Dragonite mid to high 2000s.
