Hi,

So i'm a newbie when it comes to shares. I am very interested in investing in robotics(probably a couple of grand) and I thought a good way to do this would be with the Robo Global ETF.
I'm wondering if anyone here has any advice or has any experience with this ETF?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't be a fan of those types of ETF. They are basically created by fund managers to capitalize on interest in a particular sector rather than deliver an investment return. Like the green energy, sustainable development, marijuana, leveraged oil/gas ETF's that came before, they typically lose ~50% of their value before they get closed down. Even if this one was a success, the 1%+ management fees and large spreads will mean your investment return is likely to be sub-par.

Agree ,

stay away from those low volume very specific ETF.

Thanks for the reply guys, unfortunately I already put money into it but I will probably get out early and try something else.

You could always just buy from a tech company index.
