Parking Around Fitzwilliam Square

    Anybody know if there are still areas where on-street parking is free on Fitzwilliam Square & Fitzwilliam Street?

    I know there used to be, but I haven't been up in that area in quite a while.

    Not sure about free but there's plenty of paid onstreet parking, its €2.90 per hour with a max stay of 3 hours, clampers to be around fairly often too.

    Sorry, I meant free over the weekend. It definitely used to be free on weekends in small areas of Fitzwilliam Sthe. / Fitzwilliam Sq.

    The spaces in front of the buildings tend to be free all weekend, there's a couple of stretches of non delineated areas beside the railings that are permit parking or pay parking on a Saturday

    I was there over the weekend. There are still a couple of areas where the on-street parking is free on weekends.
