Why would you want a setting like that?

So you can hear if your own voice is being picked up by the mic, pretty useless on the PS headset due to the fixed mic position.

    So that's, I believe 4 people?

Conovar (I believe he was the 1st)
    UntypicalMare?
JCD (his was the f**king best, lasted like a whole week, and he was on the 3rd headset)
    Petking

I feel like there should be a wall where you stick your picture up. Like when people eat 50 hot wings

Ah ok, yeah, no need with the PS headset. Set the Mic to 50% volume, set your Game/Party chat to slightly more Party (like 40% - 60%) and you're done

    "Member Crota?"
    "Oh I remeber Crota"
    "Member Deathsinger?"
    "Ohhhhhh Deathsinger was the best"

    :pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac:

it's actually a great feature, most headsets I've used have it and it feels weird not to have it. It feels like you're not wearing a headset at all when it works right in terms of hearing yourself speak.

Not really about testing, just being able to comfortably hear my own voice. Sometimes I feel I'm louder than necessary.

Overwatch is €44.99 in Argos for anyone that wanted to get it but not pay €60+

CEX are paying €45 for it (voucher) so if you pick it up and don't like it there's a tidy profit to be had!

A tidy profit 1 cent does not make.

I can already attest to hearing a noticeable difference in Petking and Solvable. Normally I used to just kind of assume I know what they are saying :P

My new headset is so nice. Just got to be SUPER careful of the hinges.

May I refer you to this: https://sugru.com/
Stock up "Just in case" ;)

Now i see why you kept pushing the headset, it has fantastic sound quality (I even used them on my PC for music etc). So from now on this will be my headset recommendation :)

Everyone can now hear my silence more clearly. Huzzah.

In all seriousness, they are superb, and a steal for the price.

One thing, even if you have them turned off, the mic still appears to be working?

Maybe it does if the headset is wired to the controller tho?

There's no reason to wire it to the controller though.
That AUX cable is for like, listening to music with your iPod.
Headset is 100% wireless with PS4, wiring it to your controller actually messes it up

What happens when your mid raid and the headset dies? I wired mine the other night when that happened and noticed no drop off of quality etc.

I had issues with it ages ago with that bloody Aux cable
I just plug my headset in if it's dying/dead

Mic work when off if you plugged it into your ds4, it doesn't if connected wirelessly like they should be.

Peasantry cannot even keep their headsets charged. Get a longer charging cable lads :P

Well thats what I meant like, there are some situations where it will be plugged in and from what I understand then the mic will stay on in that instance with the power off :D

Ah good man sniper, I knew you'd know that one :D
