    Finally got it fixed.

It was the turning off then on again and you don't want to admit it.

    Totally....

Oh and that fix was very short lived. May try reset the bloody thing, before I am forced to pay someone to have a look.

Yeah its getting silly. On some threads you can't view the first post on a new page on the mobile site. Also viewing a previous page will cause the new post icon to pop back up.

Anyone here listening to TX FM's last day on air?

    Check them out: http://www.txfm.ie/

Actually set up a PSN chat for this one (but excluded Petking cause his settings wouldn't allow me to add him...). I'd be on for raiding tonight but couldn't go til 9. Can go Hunter or Titan. I'd guessing it will be Hunter I am asked to go.....

Is there something setup wrong with my chat settings? I don't think people have had trouble adding me to chat or events before?

If this phenomina only happened today, it could be the after effects of the PSN outage. Apparently there was a global outage today. Could be a side effect from that.

Tempted to buy Skyrim on Steam, to get the special edition for free. Going to get it on PS4 at some point anyway.

Oh, that laptop of mine that I thought I had fixed...I did not. Turns out the hhd was dying a thousand deaths or some ****, so it had to be replaced. That was a long weekend without the laptop.

Anyone know of a sure fire way to keep kids asleep at night? Whiskey? Rubber Mallet? Chloroform? 6 weeks of randomly having to bail out of Raids and PvP, I'm sure it's getting annoying. 6 weeks of being woken at 3am as one of them is looking for mammy. 6 weeks of choosing between a sofa or a single bed as your's is taken up by 2 kids and there just aint no room for you daddy.

2 New Official PS4 controller types inbound!

I noticed these come up yesterday on my newsfeed and I was presently surprised as I would like a bit more flexibility controller wise.

What do you guys think? (I mean aside from the obvious "It looks like an X-Box controller" thing)

I always found the PS4 official controller a bit small myself

Just ignore them? Works for me usually. The wife eventually decides to take care of it, at the cost of some huffing. Worth it

interesting - prefer the look of the xbox looking one, as I prefer the xbox configuration of the analog/d-pad positioning.

Also that control panel thing looks really awkard/cumbersome on the other one.

Will be looking forward to seeing some information on price and availability - i'm sure the button mapping is the only thing stopping me from being a PvP beast.

I had been toying with the idea of getting a scuff controller, depending on the price of these I might make a christmas leap at one.

Why isn't there any bluetooth on those controllers. I know they're geared more towards 'pro' players, and that wired mean less potential lag, but surely there should be at least an option to play wirelessly.

Definitely think I'd sooner pay a bit extra for a SCUF controller, not that I'd have much use for either

I'm not sure I like the look of those. Something just not right about them.

I don't know why Sony just don't make their own Pro controller. I like the feel of the DS4, for me the form doesn't need to change all that much. Throw on a couple underpaddle thingies, hair triggers, and please for the love of god make them cheaper than the Scuf's.

I really hate all these pro players waxing lyrical about Scuf's, and how they drastically improve your game and they come with this little doohicky. Pi$$ off, you wax lyrical cause your not forking out 300 quid for them. Scuf send em to ya free of charge.

Think you kind of answered it yourself there.

Isn't this the same Totz that uses a wired headset and staunchly defends it? :P

Lol $300 for something that's still inferior to a cheap mouse and keyboard.

Especially when its a modified controller. The Xbox Elite pad may be €150, but at least the build quality is solid and doesn't feel like its going to fall apart. You don't want to know how many X360 pads I went through, the gits were notorious for the sticks wandering.

    haha, true :o

I do have a Lucid Sounds wireless headset too which I picked up in CEX on the cheap. I just think it sucks. Battery lasts about an hour before it needs charging

Hey 2 options is better than one is all I'm saying

Exactly. If a Sony made Pro was 130 / 140, I'd rather throw that money down on it rather than a reported 110 for those two Xbox wannabe's. I have a One, and I like the controller itself, but I just think if your doing a DS4 Pro controller, don't modify the form to match a One controller. Scuf, for all their high pricedness, have shown that a DS4 Pro form is possible.

Looking at the COD remastered brings back so many good memories. MW2 (yes that one) is my favourite game of all time - I have the fecking soundtrack on my phone. When they remaster it next year it's going to kill me not to buy it. Just can't do it. The way they let the hackers in to ruin MW, MW2, Blops and MW3 and just left us. I can't give Activision any money any more.....who makes Destiny?

Bought Black Ops 3 last year, turned out to be a waste. Played feck all co op or the campaign, after a few hours of each i was bored by them. Love the zombies mode(this is why i bought BLOPs 3) but to get the most from that you need season pass which i havent bought and probably never will.

MW2 was the last COD i enjoyed, still think WaW was the best of the lot,but id love to give the COD4 remaster a go,search and destroy game mode used to have some epic moments.

Loved S&D but only started playing it in MW2. Had a light weight class with OMA. Sprint to an area at the start plant claymore, switch to S&D class, plant another. I was a horrible b*****d in that game. :)
Probably got more claymore kills than with anything else
