The worst thing is walking into the Gamesroom after a week or two and hearing the beeping of a dying set of G&W batteries, luckily Tiger Stores do a cheap range of replacements.
But the little consoles do show how they learned their trade, with the D-Pad getting it's first outing on a Game & Watch Donkey Kong Multiscreen console, which I have... hooray!

Picked up Mario Party 10 in Tesco for €25 the other day.
Then, the first of the Christmas shopping done, with the two Fire Emblem games for the 3DS for my son.
Also, got Etrian Odyssey 2 for me, I shall not be waiting for Christmas to open that one!
Thanks to Readyletsgo for the 3DS games, have a look for his items on Adverts some super games in there.

Picked up Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby's Epic Yarn on Wii during the Tesco sale, My copy of Contact on DS is a bit battered so glad I picked up another.

I nipped into Tesco Santry and there was feck all, nothing current gen outside of a single copy of a Professor Layton title, which I still didn't buy.

edit - I actually got (from santry) Mario 3D world, Mario Kart 8, and another majoras mask.

Just back from finglas after 3 hours of autistically assessing the games and DVDs gods damn I got a nice haul only Nintendo stuff were sticker star and Pokemon Conquest. Got some great deals on DVDs there are a good few red box new super Mario left for Wii and loads of interesting (crappy) Ds games. One solitary Majora but it was empty. Red tags in a few of my DVDs and one left in a security box not sure how I missed that.

They were bringing stuff out in bits and bobs, so that would account for the restocking.
Really though there was nothing I was after, save for a copy of Puzzle Bobble Universe I saw in Clarehall the other day... Probably long gone now!

Disappointed New Leaf didn't appear on Selects over here. Debating whether it's worth paying €38 from Argos.

Having played the silky smooth stylings of Fast Racing Neo I can see the parallels with FZero, certainly the lack of weapons and the use of power up panels in the track.
I can see too the sacrifices to get the game running on a budget, the lack of decent collision effects, the relatively simple track designs and simple menus, together with the aforementioned lack weapons and their effects made it cheaper I'd guess to get it out there. And for an indie title it's spectacular, and all at 60fps.

Jkjk, Arthur's Quay in Limerick, only saw one, I've just been out to Coonagh afterwards this evening too around 8 didn't see one out there.
There's a thread on Bargain Alerts, ask on there if anyone's seen one?

Lucky duck, would have loved Conquest and Galaxy was really what I was searching for. Ah well, I might find them, my backlog is bad enough as it is anyway lol.

It's strange if they are but not the accessories, I found PS2 controllers and memory cards but they were coming up as full price (€35 for the memory cards)
