In relation to the re-regs why do you think that?, I'm a newly reg'd with a little time at a Admin CP and Mod CP, so I can see you notice same old same old, but I've noticed from experience that I just can't keep them out and trying is futile.

    EDIT:

Not an admin or mod at this site.

Checking my IP should send you to Bulgaria, hopefully.

I'm willingly to admit this place did become more accepting of right wing opinions since a certain mod's reign of terror came to an end. However, it's still largely a 'intolerance will not be tolerated' left wing safe space for commercially acceptable opinions.

you can also hit delete on my post's and let me BE instead of blocking me all the time.

Can I please go back to who I was instead of making over 100 false accounts from different IP addresses, it's easier for me, and easier for you.

The problem I have with this opinion is that the left side says exactly the same thing. Both lefties and righties are both saying they're being persecuted and not allowed to have an opinion and it's all nonsense. Neither side is being victimised, both sides are talking nonsense, often the exact same nonsense and for the most part they've joined into this bizarre polarisation of arguments, the topic doesn't seem to be nearly as important as being right and attacking the opposition.

Agree. The spiel about bias has been thrown about so much, that people have now assumed it to be true. The reality is, both sides are given a fair amount of leeway.

If you're a re-reg then why are you taking your mom's username, and then combining it with the amount of guys she was with... Last night?

    No you don't.

    Am I fired?

You'll have to ask the people who own the site, you know, the ones who make the money on your free labour.

Ouch! Made me laugh, nice to see a flicker of the old Boards.

How many hours a week do you spend modding for them ?

How many hours per week do you spend on this site? Remember, you're putting money in the pockets of the Dark Overlords, All Hail To Them.

    P.S. Wow, you're still here?

Still here, maybe your report button is broke or turned off.

Fyi. I haven't received one ban or infraction yet. :P

I don't work here for them. You're the barman, not me.

So how many hours a week do you moderate the site for them ?

How many threads in feedback are there from people saying that liberal/left posters are victimised (Excluding the SF stuff which is a separate matter). I can think of the misogyny thread and that resulted in major changes.

There is loads on feedback from the other side

I want to give back something to the site because I enjoy it. I don't keep track of how much time I spend moderating it. Do you honestly never do anything because you want to give back to something? Does there always have to be a personal benefit to you before you'll do something?

I don't actually give a flying who owns the site. I'm not a mod for them, I just like boards and for some reason, I like After Hours. Mostly.

Publicans would love barman like you, would you not give something back to your local pub business as well and work there for free ?

Boards.ie is not some local charity. It's a private media business.

You don't want to help out, others do. What's your issue. What do you care if I help?

You want to paint mods as some gob****es who are slaving away, working for hours on end, for nothing. The reality is, most spend a few minutes a day as mods but most time as regular posters. That doesn't fit your agenda here but that's how it is, unfortunately for you :)

You don't want to help out in your local bar for free ? That's ok, keep your panties on.

Overreact much ? A case of the penny finally dropping. You better get back to work lad instead of loafing around here.

They make money on all our "labour" and we get a forum in return. And working servers. Mostly.

If mods are barmen what product are they selling? What's the beer? What makes money?

    Content.

So we are all working for free.
