Spotted this over on the Cool Vids, Pics and links forum so credit to Dolanbaker for posting it. Heartbraking to see what look like perfectly good cars being crushed, but interesting to see the process involved. I'd say many of these cars could have lived on happily for years to come, particularly as bangernomics buys, but…

Heartbraking to see what look like perfectly good cars being crushed, but interesting to see the process involved. I'd say many of these cars could have lived on happily for years to come, particularly as bangernomics buys, but I suppose the fewer older cars on the roads, the more demand for newer ones as far as BMW is concerned.

Some of them are development yokes. The Mini at 20 secs ish par example.

Yeo. they're test mules. They can write off the cost of production against tax if they destroy cars.
