Capoue is a defensive midfielder for a team that will probably be bottom 6. He has scored a statistically improbable number of goals from doing very little actual attacking. People treating him as the new Mahrez are loosing the plot IMO.

He's not a must start if you have 4 other mids who are actual attackers.
So would you AOA with Capour or play McAuley & bench Capoue (no AOA)?

    Probably play McAuley.

Like I said, I'm currently torn over benching Capoue or Amat/Cameron.

All this talk about Capoue does increase the jinx factor and the chances of the FPL Gods taking the pisş though!

You are determining form from fpl points and goals. Which is fair enough but experience shows that unless it's backed by underlying stats and/or actually watching his matches it's unlikely to last.

This game is about predicting (guessing) what will happen next, not hoping what happened last week will keep happening.

And the fact that he spends very little time in the final third and even less in the opposition box does matter in judging that.
I've learned over the years that current form is the most important stat in FPL. I watch loads of games including Watford games. Capoue has played a little deeper and not been box to box in his last two games. The first of those was against Manchester United but he still managed to score. Their last game on a Monday night away to Burnley they were getting overrun in midfield so he was naturally going to play deeper. He still got forward though and had at least one shot on target.

Any early news on Everton lineup lads?
I'm a bit concerned about Mirallas and have Capoue on my bench.

Right I did not follow your advice guys and played AOA (McAuley benched). Holebas and Lovren ahead of him. This AOA chip was useless to me last year. I kept Baines hoping he'll be fit for next GW so let's go to the end of my logic and get rid of this chip.

Just checked 11v11.com. Last 2 Sunderland-WBA games were 0-0. In French we say "never 2 without 3". I'm already doomed then :pac:...
Too late to make the change when I came back to FPL...

Brought Lovren in to replace Masuaku for a hit. Was going to roll out AOA until I realised I'll probably need it next week when my 5 defenders would have liv, mnc, TOT, ars and Masuaku injured!

    Lukaku starts. Excellent.

I spent the last 5 minutes of the deadline deciding whether to play A Smith away to Watford or McAuley away to Sunderland. Had seen that stat about the fixtures so I played McAuley.

McAuley out is my next transfer anyway so I decided to give him a final hurrah!! :pac: (WBA have a brutal set of fixtures coming up)

Well Mirallas is going the way of the dinosaurs from my team. Maybe he can super sub it.

Stuck with Lukaku(c) in the end.
Would be a fantastic start if he gets a double digit score but going to be a long week if he blanks.

Just watching some pl show and Puncheon created 22 goal chances so far, more than any other player so far. 8 of those chances were created in their last game.

If he keeps doing that, I might consider him.

And most of those were crosses which means that Benteke is also a good option

    Valencia, Kone
Capoue, Sanchez (c), Sterling, Antonio, Firmino
    Rashford, Ibrahimovic, Lukaku

    Heaton, Friend, Amat, Baines

Feels like a disaster waiting to happen. Will finally be back on the Aguero train next week!
