Hi, we had had our home adapted for disability purposes. It consisted of building on a purpose built extension. We await the final bill but have a rough quote. We have also been approved a home adaption grant to help but i wondered if anyone could tell me if we can claim the Vat back on the job? At 13.5% this could be…

At 13.5% this could be €5000+

I know that you can get the VAT back on motor vehicles and appliances but not sure about construction work.
