I have a problem with my PS4 the hdmi port is bent and there is no signal to the television . Can anybody tell me if I can just drop the console into my local GameStop where I bought the console ? I think my warranty is up as I bought it about a year and a half ago . This is really frustrating as I was really looking forward to getting stuck into the new FIFA ! Surely it can't be a massive job for GameStop to replace the hdmi port!?Couls somebody please tell me how much this Normally costs to do and how long it takes to get done? Any help would be greatly appreciated folks!

    Hi.

A bent port would be classed as physical damage and would not be covered by any warranty. You will need a new PS4 ... unless you can get someone you know to have a crack at it as any shop will tell you that you need a new motherboard and it is not worth fixing.

The Hdmi port is soldered directly to the motherboard .

Okay . Surely this can be fixed rather than getting a new PS4 . The hdmi port is slightly bent to one side

Follow this video and take a look yourself . If the port can be bent back , then give it a go ... but , if the solder is cracked , your better off with a new one as it is a very tricky job to resolder it without very good soldering skills,
