I was just looking at that. €189.99 for 500GB PS4 console, FIFA 17 & Uncharted. Most stores only had FIFA in stock. I checked about 15 stores. None have the console in stock.

There's genuine people who want a PS4, and now because they have all been snapped up they can't, and undoubtedly a few more will appear on adverts in the next couple of hours, with €30 or €40 added to the price. It's disgraceful.

Think about this for a second, single mother gets dole of 187 quid yesterday or today, or whatever amount it is, see's the PS4 is going cheap at 189, thinks she will get the main Xmas present for kids, goes down to Argos this morning at 9am to find them all reserved by scalpers, it's a bit sh1tty...

Then has to resort to adverts next week and pay 50 above the odds that may have been put to good use elsewhere, like fags and booze... :P

Be fantastic if they made BA Only viewable to those with over 1K posts or something???

I just think it's a dick move. I see it all the time when new phones come out- sellers on adverts putting them up for €100 or €150 more than the sim free retail price. The big problem is folk will pay it. If there was nobody to buy them it wouldn't happen.

Can't see why they don't make this forum similar to the mod forum or dating forum, can't be viewable without at least 1K posts, or x amount of time as a registered user...

Would certainly cut down on this kind of stuff

I think this is a bit worse than phones though as Consoles are always a popular Christmas present and plenty of parents could have saved a few pound with this deal.

This. A thousand times this. I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never actually gotten anything from Argos/Tesco BA because it's always gone, and more often than not it appears on adverts shortly after at a hefty price increase.

And there's us over on the Xbox forum giving games away like mugs ðŸ˜

Bargain Alerts isn't here for folk to turn a profit, it's here so folk can get a chance to buy an item at a lesser value and save a few quid. Anyone that takes a BA and uses it to make money is an absolute disgrace, in my opinion.
