Anyone have experience good or bad with glass splashback for kitchen (behind hob and a little above the counters)?

What would be the best colour for an ivory highgloss units?

Also, where best to get the glass in or around Galway city?

This thread from last month might help.

As for colour, I'm hoping to get one and I've an off white kitchen (inhouse savanna style) and I'm most likely going to go with opaque.
As the splashback will be costly, I'd rather stick to a neutral colour and add vibrant colours elsewhere in the room.

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere to get coloured glass splashbacks around Dublin? I'm having a lot of trouble trying to get a colour matched and a lot of the glass places only do colours that are on this RAL list which doesn't have anywhere near the shade I need.

Or has anyone got any other suggestions besides tiles or stainless steel?

    thanks
