    Aphex gigging again, OK its in the US in Houston on 18th and 19th December but its a start, hopefully he'll play a few more elsewhere. :)

    i honestly way prefer aphex ambient stuff over eno....and i like eno.....but afx takes the prize for me

    Uforb ftw..

    Aphex twin wrote Some beautiful piano songs like Avril14 though..
    Pity he doesn't write more simple tunes.
    Saw him live a few times but way too many gear changes, just when you get the jist of it he changed direction completely.

    i think that really depends on what area of aphex twins music you are trying to make?....he uses alot of different synths

    Well, I tried to make some electronic music via Logic Pro but it was a slow process and I wondered would playing around with a synth be fun, or would it be a pointless purchase if I've never used one before.

    When I say Aphex Twin music, I just mean some electronica, maybe the electronic parts of Radiohead even.

    He's also playing Primavera Barcelona. The line up of acts for next years festival is quite impressive. Slayer are one of the headlines

    If he does play Ireland it will either be Body & Soul, Longitude or Electric Picnic, unless Life festival can get the sponds together to book him.
