No pics cuz I was driving but on the M11 I saw a lovely white Pagoda 280SL on a low ZV plate. Further down the road on the R741 out of Ballycanew, I saw a beautiful Mars Red Mk 1 GTi Golf following a Maroon RR Silver Shadow, again on a low ZV plate. A few minutes later I spotted an Austin A40 and a MB 300SE that was almost as good looking as mine!!

I spent yesterday morning with absolute hero's of 80's motoring. The Cossie is a fire breathing, 380 break monster. The BMW is an immaculate Sport Evolution (Evo 3)

    Nice Mercedes.

Strange that the owner went to the trouble of putting a steering lock in place ...and then left the drivers door window open?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,936 ✭✭✭SmartinMartin

I can see a reflection on that window.

    The owner asked me to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,866 ✭✭✭✭unkel

Fair enough, you did what he asked you to. But he is driving with the reg in full view on the public roads? Millions of people can see it :)

Or does he think the internetz is a dangerous place? :D

Doesn't matter. The Guy asked but was happy for the photo to be taken. I applaud both.
    The picture matters.

Another daily driver, in amazing condition.

    20160928_104226.jpgupload pic

Now this one puzzles me. It's only 22 so really it should go in the "oldest car you saw today " thread, but a combination of age, model and condition probably make this a classic. What is the critters for each thread?
