Trying to buy Battlefield 1 online. Have it pre-ordered on Amazon but hearing bad things about their recent delivery times to Ireland and the couriers they use and looking for an alternative. Any recommendations? There's very few options on e-bay.

Smyths UK are selling it for £36(~€42) with the code pre5. You will need to parcel motel it, but it will still come out a lot cheaper than the €60 they're looking for it here.

if you were going the parcel motel route you could just stick with Amazon - their delivery times to NI are great. Same day/next day and then another day for Parcel Motel to get it to you.

Smyths do next day delivery for all their online orders, plus they're £6 cheaper than Amazon. Smyths UK are pretty much the cheapest for preorder games atm when you use the pre5 code.

Hope he hangs on in there and finishes the job, didn't your last engineer quit and join the missions?

Early reports are promising, but I won't know for sure until later.

Something like that...I recall he fled the building, screaming "Sanctuary, Sanctuary!", he may or may not now be licking toads.

What's going on Gowel? I'd be interested to know as I'm in the process of trying to find out whether my new address will be fibre capable or not and eir are loathe to give me straight answer so far. I'm pretty sure they're just stalling to get me tied down to a contract first and than tell me I can only get 5mb....

The internet that I have been cursed with for almost a year, has been some ****ty old eircom broadband (average speedtest result is around 2 Mbps), the main issue really is that I live in an apartment above a post office which my mother owns, and they share the same phone line, which is on an An Post account so we can't make any changes to it, or get An Post to do it, even with us already paying for anything other than what can be charged to An Post. It's not like we are asking them to pay for for a halfway decent broadband connection.

So after running into a wall with An Post, I decided to see if Vodafone can sort me out, so long as they don't interfere with the line for the post office, and they can. I'd just missed the call from the engineer a week or two ago, and he wasn't picking up when I called back, so that appointment came to nothing. Another guy was supposed to call on Monday this week, but he apparently called in sick, and I only got a call about it around 6 or 7 that night "Eh sorry about that. How does Wednesday morning suit ya?"

No great trouble really, just it has taken longer that it bloody should have.

So, it seems Redbar has finally been slayed, and his realm has been sown with salt.

    1v1 me bro, let's find out :P

I imagine it might just balance out, while some people may have had issues killing me, I also had issues killing others quite often. I'll let you know if I ever get a 22-1 result from a Rumble match ever again.

Anyone on PS4 would be stupid not to pick it up. I have NEVER heard any say it wasn't worth it or suffered from buyers remorse. It's excellent and the VSS is great for PvP

For anyone that does get it - make sure you put it on the right way around.....

It not being on the right way around, on two headsets, lead to one of the funniest moments I have been present for in Destiny.

Question on the headset actually, is there a setting to hear your own voice feedback? I thought I read somewhere that there was, but don't know how.

Why would you want a setting like that?
