I don't get this betting system at all, very bad odds and you must win at least 5 to break even depending on the prices. You've a double at odds of 1.71 personally id rather a double of barca and city yesterday at them odds.
Best of luck with it anyhow but it's not my cup of tea

Very bad odds? I get why 1.40-1.50 might not be everyone's cup of tea, but 1.70-2.30 are GREAT odds if you ask me. Anything higher than that and you're betting against the bookies which, in the long run, in a recipe for disaster imo (been there done that). Bear in mind that I've been tinkering with this method for a while now and I've realized that these bets win more often than not, so in the long run I'm making money from it. Barca-City would've been a nice double indeed but that's not my strategy any more.

Completely makeshift defense with a youngster at RB, a defensive midfielder/right back at CB and a defensive midfielder at left back.

St Etienne have a TON of missings for tomorrow's game: Perrin, Pogba, Malcuit, Théophile Catherine, Mbengué, Polomat -- all defenders! plus Lemoine and Saivet (two midfielders)

These are the defenders called up for tomorrow's game: Lacroix, Cabaton, Pierre-Gabriel, Karamocko, Nyemeck
Lacroix is a CB and one of their new signings, the rest are all youngsters. Pierre-Gabriel is an 18 yo full back who's played a few games in Ligue 1 already, the rest are all youngsters who've never played with the first team (if I'm not mistaken)

St Etienne have a home game in the EL in midweek and Lille have lost their last 3 games in a row and are desperate to stop their losing streak.

    Lille DC @ 1.53
    Lille DNB @ evens

it looks bankerish but the St Etienne youngsters held PSG to a 0-0 draw for 85 min before eventually losing 1-0 so you never know...

Lille had several chances in the first half then got down to 10 men and it was game over after that :( sorry if anyone followed

Has 4 in his last 3 (mainly europa/cup)
West hams defence has gone awol recently conceding
    4/4/3 in last 3
2 or more also nicely priced at 10s
another 3 conceded by the hammers

Sevilla - Lyon should be good for cards.
Just read who the ref will be...... It is the guy who sent 2 Roda players off last week, both got their 2nd yellow for arguing with him.

In my opinion your system of backing certain teams on a losing run is flawed. It's a bit like someone sitting in a casino waiting for a big run of say 8 reds in a row then backing black because the law of averages says so. You say long term it yields profit so I had a look over all your bets on this page and from 56 bets you won 26 and lost 30. Putting 100 Euro on all these bets you would be down 927 Euro. ( I used 100 as a guide because your hardly putting 10 Euro on 1.44 shots ). You had a bet in there of balotelli anytime scorer which netted you your biggest win of 225 Euro which goes against your system.

You obviously have plenty of knowledge of gambling and soccer so id say you are very profitable when it comes to betting but I just don't think this system is working for you. This is not a dig at you it's just my opinion and nothing more.

Backing teams on bad runs isn't anything like backing black in a casino after eight reds in a row. There's many more variables than that fixed level of chance.

Professional teams hardly ever lose more than 4 or 5 games in a row, sometimes they go as far as 6-7 but those are pretty rare. That's a fact not my opinion.

This season in ALL the European leagues, only 9 teams have broken that 4-5 game rule: Wisla lost 7 in a row then won; Odense have currently lost their last 6; Helsingborg lost 6 then won; Shonan Bellmare lost 10 in a row then drew (this is extremely extremely rare); Belshina lost 7 then drew; Pribram lost 7 then won; Westerlo lost 7 in a row then won away to Anderlecht; Akzhayik lost 7 then won 5 in a row; Irtysh lost 6 then won

As you can see, all those teams (bar Shonan Bellmare) lost more than 4-5 games but never went further than 6-7 losses in a row.

edit: forgot Falkenberg who lost 6 in a row but they're doomed to relegation anyway

I've been observing this "phenomenon" for over a year now and it is definitely the safest way to make money in the long run. I've tried many different methods and this is definitely the one that brings me the most money at the end of the month. Please bear in mind that many of the bets you saw in this thread were on amateur/semi pro teams (and I've realized recently that this theory doesn't work for semi-pro or amateur teams) or on the French Ligue 1 or 2 but without using this theory.

I challenge you to find a professional team that has lost more than 4 or 5 games in a row this season and which I've failed to mention in the list above.

The only point i will point out in this, not knocking your system just a query, is that when you back them dc the odds can be very low.

So if you back a team dc at 1.6 in game 5 after 4 losses and they lose your system says you have to back them again the next game, so again say 1.7 dc and they win your still down. To you increase the stake every gameweek?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,461 ✭✭✭Ronan Raver77

45 goals in the last ten games at Turf Moor between Burnley and Watford.
    over 2.5 goals 43/40 on bet365.

They're not always that low, sometimes DC is @ 2.10-2.50, but remember that my 1.50 is your 1.80 due to Bwin being the only foreign bookie allowed here.

The way I see it is, the interest rate for savings accounts here is at 0.75% (or 2.2% but you can't touch your money for 4 years), so with 1.40-1.50 odds I get my original stake *1.50 in a day which is fine with me

Ok but if you lose your stake on game 5 and back them again on game 6 for the win (taking 1.5 for simplicity) your down .5 of your original stake, no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,860 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

A quick glance and Jong Ajax is about the same team i took to score over 4,5 team goals 2 weeks ago @ 9 against Achilles (7-1).
Repeat same against Oss, again @ 9

Yes, but in the long run, there'll be more winning bets than losing bets so that's what matters (my current situation is a bad example because I had many losing bets on Ligue 1 and 2 games not using this system and also had many bets on semi-pro/amateur teams)
