Wembley is no comparison and is obviously a massively different atmosphere but that'll be a good day out. Any chance to see your team. Should be a decent game.

I'm flying back after the game, may see you at the airport :)

I've gone over to Wembley every year for at least one game I think since the International Series launched. Never been all that impressed with the atmosphere at the games, in general it's been pretty terrible but the NFL do try and the tailgating area before the game and the atmosphere in London City Centre near any of their flagship events is worth doing.

Hoping to get over myself to the game. Should be interesting if we are still in it. Cincinnati could well be fighting for their season as well come that game.

Heading over for Redskins game, first time going... Anyone any recommendations on places to stay? Haven't been to London before! 3 lads heading over

Don't stay anywhere near Wembley! It's not the nicest part of London. I'd book up soon though because hotels aren't cheap.

London is the greatest city on Earth, you'll have a great time.

Hotels in London are not cheap. If you can get a decent Air B &b I would suggest doing that. City center would be good but anywhere near a tube station and you cant go too far wrong.

    AirBnB is a great shout.

I would agree about staying away from Wembley.

London is a great city alright (lived there for 7 years) but I would advise staying right in the centre. The best bits of London are its inner suburbs, and Wembley is actually quite accessible to Islington, Camden and Hampstead. I would suggest getting an airBnB or guest house in those areas. They are good areas to party in, and away from the touristy areas in the West End.

They've ditched the gold pants (probably only for one day though) but I much prefer this look. Reminds me of when they used to be good!

Indiscipline killing them again. Comes down to bad coaching I think.

How does Joe Barry still have a job?

Actually how do any of the coaches still have jobs. The play calling has been atrocious

Luckily the Giants have been as indisciplined so far.

If the defence can come up with a stop on this final drive I'll let him keep his job!

Joe Barry - the best defensive coach in the NFL.....!!!

Great win! Great to see some plays made on D. Just hope Breeland's injury isn't too bad. I think Blackmon might be an upgrade on DHall tbh.

Cousins got to keep playing without fear like that. Much improved.

Also playing Trent at LG might be an idea. Nsekhe is very good at LT. Run game clearly benefitted from it.

    That clearly worked yeah.

I thought not kicking the FG at the end of the half was going to come back and bite us in the ass.

DeAngelo Hall done for the year. Next man Up!

And now Kory Lichtensteiger joins him on the IR. I know he's not any good but they're very thin at Centre so it is a loss. Sone guy called John Sullivan (ex Viking) signed.

I think I'm one of the few people who likes Kory Lich tbh. Been very good this year bar a couple of bad penalties. Massive loss to the line given we lost Reiter the other week. Spencer Long gonna have to step up.

Some in the media are calling the Browns match a potential trap game but I think this will be another win. However this being the Redskins, I'm sure the result will still be in doubt at the 2 minute warning.

My prediction is that they will build a decent sized early lead, then go into prevent mode on defence (which never works) and the Browns will get close but after a nervous last few minutes, the win will be confirmed.

And let's hope they're wearing the burgundy pants (1-0) again and rid those awful gold ones (0-2) to the bin forever!

Damn it, the gold pants are back.

This has been one of the worst defensive performances I have seen in a long time. Tackling is awful and they haven't been able to get off the field on multiple third downs, including the usual 3rd and longs.

Edit - I had literally just hit send and they force a fumble. Still though, the point stands.

They also seem to have gone away from the run since they went 14-0 up.

Jim Haslett era all over again.

    That's more like it!

A win's a win I suppose but that performance from the defence was very poor. I know they got 3 turnovers but the ease in which the Browns moved the ball was ridiculous. They did seem to get their act together in the 4th quarter but a better team will destroy them. A few worrying injuries it seems now too.

On the positive side, nice that they turned possession into touchdowns.

Strange way to gain 17 yards...!!!!

It's the burgundy pants lads, I'm telling you...!!!

Great second half performance from the defence. Kirk was missing a few throws though but delighted with the win!
