    Not just allowed, they are obligatory if the situation arises. Three of my neighbors have them as their kids are at that age.

    Technically you're supposed to take them on and off as you change driver but in reality nobody does that.

    Yeah that's what I thought. it only refers to the person driving at the time so you cant be both L & N
