Anyone else hear a noise in Dooradoyle all night? It's a low rumbling noise like a truck engine idling or road roller or even an airplane but it's been going on all night long. Construction all night? Cement factory?

Probably the cement factory at the Mungret roundabout I'd imagine.

Possible rock breaking going on in Analog? They are building a new extension and are breaking a lot of new ground.

It's from the Raheen Industrial Estate, factories are allowed pump more gases into the atmosphere at night, hence low frequency humming, low engine noise.

Cant say I agree with you.
Most factories have a 45 db noise limit at night while the daytime noise limit is 55 db

It's the cement factory. Depending on the wind direction it's noisier some nights.

That would be confined to the daytime.
