    That's ridiculous, I pre-ordered (Navy - 1kb) on the 1st September 2000 and still haven't received my dispatch notification.

Nokia needs to seriously sort out their orders system.

Its worth the wait. Try out this ringtone when you get it.

Don't think too many on here have got a plus anyway. I see on istocknow that there's stock all over Europe in the apple stores but doubt they are lasting long. I expect there's a big shipment due in a few weeks hence the delivery dates.

    I did!

So fellow iPhone 7 users... I have a question. If I wanted to recolour the 3.5mm to lightning adapter from the white color it is to black, what would be the best spray/paint for it. Am I on the right track in assuming plastidip? Its a bit overkill isnt it...

I'm gonna bet that nothing you paint it with will last on the cable part and the other parts even if they remain painted will look crap with the cable being white. Would you not just amazon a black adapter? Might save you the hassle for about a tenner.

Far easier to get something like this : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-USAMS-For-iPhone-7-7-plus-Lightning-to-3-5mm-Audio-Jack-Coverter-Also-Compatible/32737479211.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.45.WVeRRj&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_10,searchweb201602_2_10057_10065_10056_10068_10037_10055_10054_10069_301_10059_10033_10058_10032_418_10073_10017_10070_10060_10061_10052_10062_10053_10050_10051,searchweb201603_4&btsid=5645be5e-32eb-4295-ad63-368fdb7e85df

Ahh I was looking for something like that, but

    a) Not sure about that vendor
    b) Since its been proven that there is some form of DAC in the adapter I'd like to stick with the official one

I'm gonna bet that nothing you paint it with will last on the cable part and the other parts even if they remain painted will look crap with the cable being white. Would you not just amazon a black adapter? Might save you the hassle for about a tenner.

I've thought about that, but there wasnt any that I could find online. (until the one linked above)

From looking at other color mod experiments with plastidip, it doesnt look that bad, but I guess the friction from being in my pocket could prove to be a bit much!

Crazy it's taken so long for 7s to ship when stores have had them since Friday. I see he online shop even has every colour except the new black colours available to buy right now. Hopefully they start getting some pluses in soon.

Its definitely frustrating seeing them in the shops now having ordered online on launch weekend.

It does look to be the blacks that are causing the longer processing times online.
I'll post when I get shipping notice.

attempt to paint it, if it ****s up buy another €9 adapter and lesson learned and live with the white.

    ... or ...

waste your time and money buying ****ty adaptors from the back arse of China that take weeks if not months to show up that are unproven only to be ultimately unhappy with the result when they don't work as well as the apple one.

To summarise: just accept that no matter what the final outcome will be "live with the white" *, and skip all the other steps :-)

    * painting it will look crap and lose it coulour over time, and a Chinese one will not work properly

    Hi,

Ordered the iphone 7 Plus in Rose Gold from Apple website, however, nothing has been taken from my card (not that there is anything on it anyway!) and the email says it's being processed. Any idea if this will be cancelled or when payment will be taken?

Well first post from my new 7 plus matte black. It's a beautiful phone lighting quick. As others have said the screen protector is slightly covering the ear piece but it's fine.

Waiting on a case now hopefully I'll have it tomorrow which will keep me going until Apple ship the official case.

I believe you will be charged when it moves from processing to the next stage "preparing for shipment"

How long does it take to get to the preparing for shipment stage?

It depends on your expected delivery date and how Apple's stock is moving. Probably 1 or 2 days before your forecasted delivery date - but that date could also change if supplies are improving.

Vodafone just delivered my Black 128GB. No wifi in work, have to wait until later to set it up! :'(

Login to your order tracking and it should tell you the expecting delivery date range. They will take payment just before shipping it.

If you only just ordered it I'd say a good 2 weeks waiting

    I said I'd update:
Order just changed to 'Ready to Dispatch' from the continual 'Processing' message. Expect delivery by Friday I guess.
Wont update any more on this.
