Figured it out. Upgraded to android 7.0 at the weekend and it changed the GPS settings to 'Battery Saver'. Changed it to 'High Accuracy' and she's back motoring along.

Look on the bright side - hatched Pokemon generally* have higher IVs than caught ones so crush those for candy and upgrade your hatched Eevee to Vap/Flar/Jolt.

* in my experience.

Yeah, they're pretty handy to get! I got one the other day and was quite surprised since you're more likely to get Pidgeys, Rattatas etc. consistently.

Yeh I don't get ppl hating on eevee. I got 4 Electabuzz in a row I'd gladly of taken eevee over. Not to mention Pinsir and 2 magmars.

I understand why some people get annoyed with hatching Eevees as, in some areas, they're easy to catch. As a result, the last thing you want after walking 10km is a Pokemon you catch on the regular.

I hatched two more 10km eggs today
- got my 2nd Chaney from an egg, not the worst as the first one I hatched was my very first 10km egg which was many many levels ago i.e. Not the best CP or HP, and the one wild Chaney I got was pure rubbish.
- then I got a 3rd Aerodactyl

After weeks of not having one that's now three in the last six 10km eggs I've hatched.

Yeah but an egg eevee comes stacked with candies. I defo wouldn't complain

You might need them for Hitmontop or Tyrogue in Gen II

Wouldn't mind too much if I could evolve one into another Vaporeon. I'm sick of Flareon and Jolteon. Only ever had two Eevee's evolve to Vaporeon for me, and one of those was with the Rainer cheat

I have hundreds of Eevie candies and nothing to do with them. Maybe in gen 2 they'll come in handy. There's very little left in 10k eggs I'd really want. Snorlax, Lapras, Hitmonchan and Aerodactyl are about the size of it but I'd not be unhappy with dratini candy or some Omanite juice.

Got another Hitmonchan from a 10km egg. Caught one in the wild weeks ago. Also saw an Electabuzz in Greystones today, second one I saw in the wild, both in Greystones. Didn't even bother because I have two strong electric types and don't need it for the Pokedex! Still looking for Grimer andChansey, never seen them at all. The only other I don't have that isn't an evolution is Pinsir, seen that in the nearby once. My boyfriend saw one in Greystones when using insense, course the game crashed and when he reloaded, it was gone.

Oh, and Aeordactyl.

I was very lucky today, out in the 'wilds' of Louth and I was using incense. Got myself a Grimer (had never even seen one on sighting!) and hatched a Hitmonchan! Also used buddy system to get enough candy to evolve myself a Golem. Thats 3 more off the pokedex!

WHERE ARE ALL THE BLOODY REVIVES!!!!!

I levelled up today and got 10 Revives...so I've 10 Revives. 200 Ultra Balls. 100 Great Balls. 70 odd Razzas. I've been running away from Gym battles I think I'm going to lose to preserve the few I have left but I'm still running out!

I wonder if they're going to pop up in the shop in the next update.....

I have an average strength Jolteon who I can use to take pretty much every gym I see. Taking gyms is nearly too easy.

My Jolteon gets crushed as soon as a Vaporeon uses Hydro Pump.
Unfortunately, it only has Discharge as special attack.

Spawn points are gone to absolutely ****e. Where once there was bulbasaur, Abra and Muk now there's Pidgee, zubat and spearow.
Hatched a psyduck too. Time to move to new York.

Caught 3 squirtles within the space of 30 mins in Limerick last night, lads were all over the shop, got my 1st ever grimer in the wild last night too, so not the worst day, although, otherwise, pokemen simply did not want to be caught, some days it just feels like you have no luck and everything takes 10+ throws. Then a dratini ran away. Thems the shakes, not exactly making up for Blastoise running away, but I'll take it.

I've hatched a good 50 5k eggs at least I reckon, still no doduo or porygon..

lv 28 now, up to 111/111 seen/caught in the Dex

Just got my Poliwrath back after 8 days in a gym. Haven't actually used him to battle a gym yet as he was thrown straight in to defend after I got him. He's 1713cp with 98.4 IV. His moves are bubble and submission. Is he worth powering up or should I be trying to find one with a better moveset?
