Just after waking up from a mid day nap, and my gf has just informed me she caught a lapras in the sitting room. Turns out I've thought her nothing in pogo, can't believe i missed it :eek: :mad:

Onto my third Buddy already - Machoke quickly got me enough Candy for Machamp, then Geodude combined with a few egg hatches and wild catches gives me a Golem, and #131 on the Pokedex.

Buddy got me a Charmeleon finally and hatched a lickatung and a Voltorb both of which I had but my first lickatung was 63CP and this guy is 907CP.

I have 4.2km to go to get my Exeggutor, should hopefully do that tomorrow, although the phone is not the greatest at calculating how far I've gone. He's been my second buddy, first was an Ekans. Pikachu is next....33km to go!

I never catch anything in my sitting room (or even my street), I'm jealous of those who have them show up in their houses!

Is anyone here running this on a Moto G4? I'm thinking of getting one for the girlfriend but I'd need it to run Pokemon Go well! She has a Galaxy Core Prime at the moment and it struggles.

Evolved my Charmeleon yesterday, now got no candy!
It may be a long grind but the Buddy system does give all players a way to fill out the pokedex without having to rely on lucky spawns, just need footwork for the majority of them once you get the first pokemon.

Yep I am (or my son is, so he thinks!). Runs just fine, only issue I have is that for every km the iPhone 5s records (the other kid plays on this), the Moto G4 only records about 5-600m.

I have one kid here who has hatched 2 lickitungs, and the other has none. It's a major source of rivalry!!

Haven't been able to play all weekend. Just keep getting a 'GPS Signal not Found' error. Have the latest update and phone is not rooted, Nexus 5X running stock android. GPS is working fine as well for Maps etc.

Same thing happens on my son's S4, GPS drops in pogo for no reason, but when using GPS for anything else it never drops off. Though it will stay on in pogo if I connect his phone to WiFi and use mine as a hotspot

I have the same issue from time to time when I have Wi-Fi turned off and am only using my mobile data connection. I had the issue again today, when only using the mobile connection, so I just turned on Wi-Fi as well and I was able to play again.

It depends. The spawn times are generally every 15 minutes, e.g. xx.15, xx.30, xx:45, so you just need to figure out during what period they'll spawn. I spotted a Pikachu that spawned daily at 17:30 but when I checked at 18:30, 19:30 etc, it wouldn't be there. With that said, I then noticed that it would spawn at 19:45 instead some days, which was weird.

Anyway, the takeaway from this is that you should time it yourself, keep note of the times and see if you can understand the expected frequency of the spawn. Who knows, you might find the same Pokemon spawn every hour at xx.15

Absolutely nothing in my usual spots this morning or at lunch time (so much for a dratini spawn point!) So I went for a ride around.
Missed three Abras, two Bulbasaurs, growlithe and dugtrio because every one of them was on private property. The game kept bugging out and the GPS going mental as well. Sum total of one ball thrown and one Eevie captured.

Are you sure it spawned again?

If it didn't show up in your sightings list and you are only going off a scanner then it is most likely that the Pokemon spawned for a total of 30 minutes. Most trackers don't handle this instance correctly because of how the despawn time is returned for 30 minute spawns.
