Although I admit I'd go in and try it.

I get bitterly disappointed when I open the thread and it's another one of those deeply unfunny simpsons memes. What's the point of them?

I think this new one is great, you just need to imagine an aussie accent as you read it! ;)

The Simpsons ones only work if they're taking the actual speech from one episode and transplanting it to another episode.

And even then, they don't always work of course.

Probably that the safety 'rope' is way too long, and that if he were to fall off the lorry it'd be of no help to him whatsoever. Either that, or it's not a safety feature at all but it's something to tie down the cargo or the side panel of the trailer, and he's using it for the wrong purpose.

Slowly step away from the welder

That looks like something out of an old episode of Top Gear, I remember once they chopped up and welded together different types of cars to make a stretch limousine out of them... It was cringingly funny.

I thoguht it was that the pallet truck's pallet blades were lifting the bags up by their handles.

The safety rope thing probably makes more sense though.

    Either way ... meh!

Believe it or not, the forks lifting the cargo bag like that is a standard lifting procedure, as long as the driver tilts the forks back its fine.
As for the lad hooking the oversize harness to a pointless 'secure point', that's being fully compliant to Health and Safety.. He's working at "height" and this makes him "safer" should he fall...

...we do that all the time.

Mods, I hope this is ok here. If not feel free to remove!

I posted what I thought was a funny meme in the YLYL thread this morning mocking the fact that sometimes when certain members have multiple pictures they put them into individual threads rather than just one post. Anyways it was removed with the comment "Nope, we're not going here...again. Sorry!" from the Mod. So I was wondering has this been discussed before here? And if so does anyone have link to those discussions?

I thought the funny was that the harness lanyard was way too long; he would be flat on the ground before the shock absorber part would work if he did fall.

Had that ****e too years ago on pharma jobs, full harness and platform ladder if > 1.5M off the ground.

I thought that lorry thing is that the man and the bits and pieces were an image on the side and the forklift was about to put something on it thinking it was open (I'm sure I've seen that image before on other lorries) - I don't know though, surely the after pic would be the funny thing so if that was the case?

Could we get the poster to explain it to us?
