Opinions on BMW X5 3.0d 7 seater

I am looking at a 2009 E70 - 7 seater Diesel Auto. We need an Auto and 7 seats. Anyone got one. What has gone wrong with yours, I have read the forum sites Would you recommend it, I am aware tax is 1200 and set of tyres is 800.
