BMW X5 3.0d 7 seater

I am looking at a 2009 7 seater X5. The garage is offering a 2 year BMW warranty with it. Does anyone have one. I have had a look at the forums for things that go wrong with them. Would you recommend?

Is this the E70 model or the newer shape?
