system low battery

Hi,

I'm trying to replace the battery in my SIMON XT Alarm panel
I got the alarm system installed originally through eircom Phone watch, but stopped the monitoring contract a few years ago
It's reporting "system low battery" every now and then at various times, wakes everybody up and is wrecking our heads
I opened the alarm control panel and took out the battery
Attached is a picture
The description on the battery is

Ni-MH
A2100mAH 6.0V
BS-XT-2100

I cannot find one of these online and electrical suppliers did not have one either.
Has anyone had any luck with replacing these ?
I suppose Eircom Phone watch is an option, but they will be charging 100+ I'm sure

Thanks elothar that's very nice and helpful of you , I went looking to buy those on ebay but the links have expired

It seems to very hard to source these batteries on ebay or online in general

And of course Eircom Phone watch charging a minimum call-out fee of 200 euro + parts !

I'll keep looking online

The alarm is a Simon XT , as opposed to the XTi one, but the battery spec is similar I think

This is 2200 rather than 2100 but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Dont know a lot about electricity so maybe check with someone more knowledgeable before you buy them.

This link also has a couple of versions of the 2200 setup but also has some 2000 as well in case your advice is to go lower than the 2100 rather than higher.
