Is it me or is this thing feckin briiliant?
4x4 would have been great, but still, that looks like a game changer to me! Especially in the developing countries.

What think ye of the Ox? I want one. Not sure what I'd do with it though.

They said they could make a 4x4 but it is not really necessary good enough as is delivered in flat pack form 24 hours to assemble .. I'm still waiting for Gordon Murrays other creation the Yamaha e.motive to be made (3 years) although the new TVR should be out soon using his istream production methods ..

I like it... think its cool

but at 10 to 15k stg its not cheap.....

you can pick up a new new transits conversion for 14.9k stg.....
so not a bargain as the article keeps pointing out

Most of the developing world runs on Toyota engines and running gear and that's what should be in it, not the Transit parts. Big mistake IMO and will be part of it's downfall. At least engineer it so that a 2.4/2.8 Toyota engine can fit in.

Apart from that I agree that it's a typically genius creation from Murray. Pity the T25 never came to anything.

I remember reading about this 3 years ago. It's amazing how the media are all over it as soon as they're looking for investors.
It's a joke of a thing. The only market they have for it is charities. And we all know how efficient they are.
It makes more sense for poorer markets to use trucks more developed countries don't use any more.

Gordan Murray is a smart man. He has some brilliant design ideas. There are some good ideas in this truck too but overall, it's hard to see this being a success.
I like the dual use of interior figures etc.

Wouldn't go that far and I think some of the ideas have merit. The local assembly is an old one but ideal for a simple machine if the tax laws suit.
Suspension parts that fit more than one position is a great idea and should be achievable on a wider range of vehicles.
The flat panel that fit both sides are a nice idea but not really a runner in anything other than the most basic vehicle.
