All the mids I'm considering ditching this week have tasty GW5 fixtures.

How about I complicate things further for you and throw Defoe in the mix? :D
3 Homes in the next 4. EVE PAL WBA = tasty fixtures.
No Borini either so little competition and likely to be on pens?

I think Defoe is a fantastic shout, and I'm a bit surprised more aren't considering him. He's currently in my WC team.

Agreed on Defoe, but after this week. Negredo at home to PAL is very appealing. Once Bony and Benteke have settled, there may well be 4 very good options in the 7.0-7.5 category up front. It will certainly make things interesting if so, as I imagine most will go for Aguero/Ibra + 1 of these 4, meaning every week you live in fear of one of the other 3.

Anyone think of any handy transfers I could make?
    Wildcards active

    Love -> Amat

Looks good other than that, don't see Love playing as much as Amat, though will be your 5th defender anyway

Was just about to ask about Love/Sunderland's defence in general.
Who would be their starting back 4/5?
Moyes might play 3 CBs and 2 WBs but who would actually start?

    Thanks for replies guys.

    Went with PVA - Kone
    And Love to Amat

Does Nsue start for Mboro? As would play him instead of Kone this Week.

Has Collins been starting ahead of Ogbonna for West Ham?

Any love for bolaise? I think at 6m in an Everton team with good fixtures could be good shout for few weeks over redmond/Snodgrass

I'm a big fan and he was always going in my team this year however I'm also a big fan of Mirallas and if he stays fit I think he is a better option than Bolasie.

I'll probably go with Mirallas when I wildcard and FT him to Bolasie when he gets injured.

    Bolasie or Snodgrass?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,137 ✭✭✭steve_r

Personally I'd go with Snodgrass. I've been very impressed with him so far for Hull, everything seems to go through him and he is on set pieces. Apparently got a hat-trick mid week.

Bolasie is a form player. I had him last year when Palace had their fixture pile up. It wasn't a disaster but he is at that price point for a reason - he just does not produce that much.

Costa or Lukaku. Please hold me
So hard to choose. I'm 99% sure it'll just be a two week punt, Lukaku has the better fixtures over those, but think I'll go Costa.

If I go with Lukaku , I can get Ozil aswell though or go with Costa it will be Sterling/Cazorla. Cazorla is a all but guaranteed to start yeah?

I never trust Everton players in general though. I have been burnt so many times!

Word of warning. Costa holds hard.

He also loves to get into rucks vs Liverpool
    Who they play very soon
I won't be going near him but hoping for the second rise

Problem with Costa is he's a red card or ban just waiting to happen (although he's never actually been sent off in the PL amazingly enough). He averages a yellow about every 3 games so unless he goes massive you can pretty much kiss goodbye bonus points 33% of the time. Honestly I had him for a good portion of the last 2 years and I'm just not getting him in again, he's too much of a head wreck to have.

Do I get rid of Redmond, Townsend, Mahrez or Rondon? Not sure who I'd bring in for Rondon though. Have 3.3 in the bank

Townsend for me, others more likely to get points

    Team currently looks like this:

    Foster
    Valencia/VVD/Morgan/Kone
    Hazard/Firmino/Delofeu/Lamela/Redmond
    Ibra

    [Jaku, Aguerro, Diomande,Amat]

Half of me says its WC time and axe Kun, VVD, Firmino, Redmond, Jaku and Delodeu.... the other half of me says just play the 451 or just do a FT Aguerro > Lukaku/Costa

    Suggestions welcome!

Aguero out as you say, no point in having a 13m player sitting on the bench - may drop in price too, cheaper to get back in.

Think I'm gonna do Negredo in for Aguero and Sanchez in for Coutinho. Seems like a safe bet.
