    I don't know the layout so can't comment on that. My mam and uncle were both set to go that night, but thankfully decided on other places. They lost a lot of friends that night...

    My brother was supposed to go, was living in Artane or Raheny at the time...but being the Kerryman in Dublin he was drinking all evening and stayed in the pub rather than go to the Stardust with his friends. Cue a log wait in our house the following morning for a phone call as news had broken but there was no news from him and my parents were frantic. Eventually he woke up, heard the news himself and phoned home. All his friends who had gone on to the disco made it out...but I'll never forget the wait for the call.

    I always found it very chilling when it is shown in Reeling in the Years. An unimaginable tragedy.
