Thought it only right that we commemorate the 35th anniversary of this dreadful tragedy and while it has been discussed quite a bit on boards over the years im surprised the anniversary hasn't been mentioned much this week in the various sections of the media or indeed on this or any other site I respect that there is many…

My brother was supposed to go, was living in Artane or Raheny at the time...but being the Kerryman in Dublin he was drinking all evening and stayed in the pub rather than go to the Stardust with his friends. Cue a log wait in our house the following morning for a phone call as news had broken but there was no news from him and my parents were frantic. Eventually he woke up, heard the news himself and phoned home. All his friends who had gone on to the disco made it out...but I'll never forget the wait for the call.

I always found it very chilling when it is shown in Reeling in the Years. An unimaginable tragedy.
