    No Ibra yet?

I totally don't know what to do. Aguero , Zlatan, Hazard and Sanchez in the same team seems impossible. Doesn't it?

The Ozil option is a good suggestion but I hate not owning Sanchez, especially with Giroud back.

With the penalties situation though Cazorla has a good case too.

I'm knackered and need to adopt some kind of stance re the wildcard so I can get to bed!!

Started with the big 3 up front and Hazard. So had all 3 of Zlatan's goals.

At 5pm I thought I might use the WC but not now.

It's a GW too early I think, for myself anyway. I've got 2 FTs and can try out the Fantastic Four for a week. It's finding the right 3rd forward that's the issue but even with unlimited funds I'm not sure who I want.

With the flurry of actual real world transfers I think leaving the dust to settle for another GW or 2 is the prudent move even if it cost a few points in the short-term.

The likes of Amat/Jaku etc may never be seen again after another week and a bench that should be set up for a few months could be done for in a matter of minutes.

As for Arsenal who the hell even knows. How will Perez affect the attack?

I suggest a policy of patience for all when it comes to a wildcard :)

Yeah I just heard. Might see how Negredo / Rondon do tomorrow and make a decision

Didn't most of Sanchez points come last year when Giroud was NOT in the team
I'm almost certain that was the case
There was a lot of analysis done on it
Welbeck or Walcott up front making space for Alexis as opposed to Giroud lumbering around the box getting in the way :D

I think you're right, I was more referring to Sanchez being back on the left once Giroud returns.

Bolasie played most of the game today. Any feedback on him from anyone who saw more than the highlights?

I think I'll take Mr Prodston's advice and be patient and sensible.

What the actual fcuk did I just type!!!!!!!!

What have we become Mr P?? :(

I was all set to wildcard earlier. But ultimately I decided to hold off. My keepers are ok. My defence is fine. My strikers are grand. It's just my midfield that's in tatters.

Hazard is grand. In fact he's damn near essential. It's the rest of them that's the problem. Mané, Siggy, Redmond and Townsend returned a combined total of 5 points today. As iroced would say that's feckin' pathetic.

So the wildcard option was seriously being considered. But then Mané looks to be one of the better Pool midfield options and could have scored big today. Townsend is going to start leaking value but has some nice fixtures coming up. Siggy hasn't started firing yet but is a proven fpl points scorer from seasons past. And Redmond is not exactly lighting it up either at the moment but is an attacking threat all the same.

But then, if I get rid of any of them who takes their place? Lamela, Barkley, Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla are all contenders. I think Sanchez could be at the top of the list, but then that requires downgrades elsewhere which weakens the rest of the squad. So I'm just going to hold off and see how the International break transpires and roll with the inevitable price drops. Maybe it'll become clearer in a couple of weeks which midfielders will become consistent and better use can be made of a wildcard.

Though it's easier to say when you've had a decent start, your squad isn't at risk of haemorrhaging value, and you have an extra f\t to play with

Anyone monitoring Berahino? If he gets his move to Stoke he could do very well with better quality players around him. I'm trying to figure out the ideal cheap(ish) 3rd striker to leave in all season

I've had a mediocre start, although results tomorrow could change it to decent again. Sitting just inside 400k atm.

Will lose value on Andros which would be only the second drop I've taken. The first being an avoidable fck up with Ramsey.

Will risk it tonight and take a chance on Townsend dropping. Tomorrow's games may change the picture.

Yeah tomorrow may change the outlook. Andros has looked lively the bits I've seen of him and Palace's fixtures are decent, patience may pay off on that one.

Probably going to be Fabregas out for Hazard or Sanchez, but it's impossible to decide between the two. Going to be keeping an eye on Curtis Davies too. Seemed really solid today vs United, very unlucky not to come away with a clean sheet.

Just on the issue of the big 4, although Sanchez will probably be one of the biggest points scorers this year if he stays fit, the problem is his unpredictable scoring patterns; how confident can you be captaining him at home with an 'easy' fixture? I would say less so than with the other three, although will have to monitor Zlatan in this regard, too small a sample size for him so far. Keeping Sanchez in your team all season will reap lots of points, it's just the captaincy issue for 10.9m that is an issue. Someone mentioned it in another post, Ozil gets you, 5, 6, 5, 6; Sanchez gets you 2, 2, 16, 2. Captaining Aguero or Hazard at home against a smaller team feels safer.

This is what I'm telling myself because I can't afford Sanchez at the moment. Probably going to bring in Santi. Hopefully he keeps his place.

So Kone (SUN) seems to be back in action and but still unsure he's fully committed so was thinking of switching out to Papy D instead. Looked good yesterday by all accounts.

Kone was very dangerous again from set pieces
I wish he would just move to Everton

Apparently he was excellent yesterday, so even if the Everton move doesn't happen he may still be worth having.

If Kone moves it will be both

Been looking at ways of fitting the big 4 into my team as well. Already have Kun, Zlatan and Hazard. I could do it with a -8:

    Mané -> Sánchez
    Townsend -> Capoue
    Siggy -> Lamela

With 0.2m itb. That would leave me with a squad of:

    Foster Jaku
    Shaw Morgan McAuley Friend Amat
    Hazard Redmond Sánchez Capoue Lamela
    Ibra Kun Diomande

That'd also mean I'd be rotating one starting position between Diomande, Capoue, Friend and Amat.

Alternatively, I could draft in Sánchez and a 4.5 for Mané and Spacecraft for just a -4 but with 0 itb.

All these plans are subject to price changes and with the budget so tight could be unmanageable in a few days.
Regardless, I'm unlikely to make any move before the internationals are over.

Going to be keeping a close eye on Myhikitarin he was very good when he came on yesterday. Should be starting in a week or two.

Defo worth keeping an eye on after the derby
Came very very close to scoring late on

He came close a few times but i don't think he will score enough to justify his price.

Lads is Capoue still worth it to bring in to free up funds and points or was his early form just a one time thing?

    Also considering Pererya...

I only watched MOTD last night, but from what I saw he likes to get forward a lot. Might be worth having as your 5th mid.

Was pogba any use as a fantasy asset.

He's getting plenty of chances to shoot in good positions but he's not working the keeper enough.

He'll definitely score in the next few games but I'd say his returns will be too inconsistent overall.

Here's his shot map from the Hull game last night. 6 shots, 1 on target.
It was very similar v Southampton bar 1 close-range headed chance.
