Hate to say this, but you are coming off a little dodgy also. You also voted for two known villagers and you want to go for wolves based on post counts? There are a number of reasons for low post counts, RL issues, lack of interest in game, lazy posting style, and sleeping wolves yes. Post counts is a little unreliable unless we know the reason why.

Surprised you didn't want to go off voting patterns and known info tbh unless you know the wolves are not in the low post counts?

If i wade through your posts im sure you have accused these same villagers or the priest but that doesn't mean you are a wolf you could be guessing like everyone else is,

I made an attempt to go for the low poster in the first round and now again in this round as from experience in playing this game before there is always sleeper wolves,

What good does having the low poster around, he/she is contributing nothing to the game at all and why would you defend someone that has barely posted as you are so quick to suspect anyone that does post

Explain why mrs Flushdraw is being ignored? Kylo Ren? El Hombre?

Ren and hombre are both in the list and need to be looked at. MrsFD voted for poochie whom is still alive.

I am looking at the ones that jump out to me as being sus. And you are being very suspicious at the mo.

Well had I known in advance that 7 votes were going to be cast for Uriel then yes, I could have kept my vote on Persepoly. But I didn't. It was a pretty close run thing. In the end sullivlo was almost lynched despite having outed herself as the priest.

As to this nonsense about picking villagers two nights in a row - if you selected two people completely at random there's about a 62% chance of getting two villagers, about a 36% chance of getting a villager and a wolf, and about a 1% chance of getting two wolves.

How is it nonsense? I am working off the assumption that wolves don't vote for fellow wolves. So I am looking at those who voted for known villagers two nights a row to see if wolves slipped up and revealed themselves.

Us villagers can never be certain who to vote for. I don't believe it's a very reliable indicator of who is really who.
The wolves of course have a far better chance than we do. They have their own thread and can plot and plan to their hearts content. Then appear here amongst us pointing fingers, pretending or they keep away.

We have a seer which we haven't yet used.

Not defending, just asking what the hell are you doing? You are an experienced player as you said, and you haven't tried to put together the info we have so far.

Why do you think Mick was killed?

How does it make no sense?

Acquiescing people left right and center because of flawed logic makes no sense which has cost us two villagers in lynching already and going by your logic would have cost us mick today if he wasn't slaughtered - that makes no sense

there is two obvious deep sleepers and i guaranteeyou one of them is a wolf, there is always one every time, dont give them time to start slowly upping their post count with excuses of why after 3 days the 2 sleepers have just 19 posts between them!

i think you are a villager because a lot of your posts especially regarding the priest was not wolf like at all, but you have to reel it in a little bit

I think your analysis is right andy, id probably tag el hombre as a guess right now. Im just not sure what we get yet by tagging a player with no links we can make- theres nothing to put them in or out. Based on palying previously whats the benefit to tagging a sleeper wolf rather than one of the active ones? Who would you suggest might be the best targets?

how did that work out for us when we lynched shatter and uriel?

By targeting the sleeper wolves you can get plenty of info, the sleepers if clever wont defend themselves as they will look guilty but the ones that will defend them will tell us so much more and attack the one trying to out the sleepers

    As you can see already

You know, we havent heard from boneyarsebogman in TWO days and he didnt vote last night???? Now thats a very low profile.

True. Why don't we race both persepoly and boneyarse so, that will make both Andy and I happy as we are following both theories then!

If I do not hear from Boneyarsebogman by tonight, I think I may cast my vote that way, it would be a great strategy by him.

    1. He does not appear on the vote sheets that we are arguing over.

    2. I completely forgot about him, until I saw the original page.

    3. Its a great way to play as a wolf, almost complete stealth.

Fair enough, given that we have some low posters, some whove gone quiet, and some very active posters. Who should be the run tonight?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,452 ✭✭✭✭The_Valeyard

But I think I will go by Tiggers strategy and not cast the vote until near times end as so not to let the wolves get the move on us.

That might work, but if either of those is innocent and we mess this up, those odds are not good for the next day and we may loose a priest.

We need to be really sure what we do tonight.

I see your point. By the way your strategy is sound, I just not convinced the timing for it is right. Why not do that in a day or two from now?

I just wanted to see what we can shake loose from the list.

Same can be said for any two poster we put in the running really

    I'm not.

Ok then, who are your top three suspects and why should we look at them?

What do you think we should do?

Ok so im a bit surprised i confess. I put two names out thinking wed get a lot of alternatives, some defensiveness, posters trying to push angles. Not so much.

Persepoly in particular has been on the cusp of a lynching for a bit now but no rally to support.

Im confused, im thinking a long read back might be needed

we stick to daz and persephone
    or me daz and persephone
if we get a wolf at least we'll know

we won't lose a priest co i picked from the sulli list of suspects

What do you think we should do?

I think we should look back at who was interacting with the last two posters to have been taken by the wolves. Also look for any clues in the lead up to the 10pm vote. Then I suggest we go back to the beginning of the thread.

The three quiet ones I'm curious about because I think one of them is a wolf. The rest are among us.

Also why aren't we using the seer?

seer is afraid to be eaten or is one of the crew that have lost interest

I think it should be Persepoly and Digital Solitude.

Yea i have been thinking about this a good bit

If the seer has one wolf now he should come out now as it would get us off the mark perfectly and it would be between the seer or priest for slaughter which would guarantee us one of them in the next round

If the seer has no one atm he should wait..
then in this scenario when the priest is slaughtered, before he dies he should name his trainee so we still have a priest in game for another round and it stop a wolf faking as the trainee priest which would destroy us, then the seer should come out with any info he has before he dies especially if we lynch a villager today

    Well thats my thinking anyway
