I used drive4fun in Faro last month to hire a car.

Paid 500 for a seat Ibiza for 2 weeks.

Car was clean, staff friendly and when I phoned them to enquire about things, they were helpful.
Dropped the car back with keys in the glovebox and got my flight.

They don't do super insurance but offer tyres windows and locks for €3 a day.

I had the option of topping up my via Verde toll transponder or just letting then bill me for usage.
I did both..and when the bill came through it was about what I expected.

Thanks to whoever it was mentioned them earlier in the year.

You should add them to the car rental recommendations thread. Someone else might read it there and find it useful.
