I popped in to get petrol at the old Sweeney and Forte garage on the Howth Road today to find the shop virtually cleared of all stock. I popped in to get petrol at the old Sweeney and Forte garage on the Howth Road today to find the shop virtually cleared of all stock. The petrol sales is pretty much all that's left of the business as the showrooms shut down some time ago and that part of the business is closing down next week.

Doubtless the place will be sold for housing. Prime location. Sad to see another old garage go though.

Shop clearing stock due to shutting down for a short period while it is being re-developed as a new MACE / Maxol outlet.
