    Hi all,
looking to register 2 calf births, but seem to have lost the birth registration card that comes with the tags, have sent off the tissue sample. don't have access to agfood.ie.
where would I get a replacement card or how else can I register them?

    thanks

Give the dvo a shout and they will send out a form for you to register them.

Sign up to agfood if at all possible, way simpler. We'll talk you through it if you need help.

Don't know your scenario but give the department a shout and they will send out forms to either transfer the herd number to you or if the herd number is in your mother's name or due to the will must go into your mother's name or whoever and you will be doing the day to day running you can be put down as the herd keeper which will allow you to register online then. They should be helpful enough given the curcumstances

+1. You have a bit of an amnesty atm due to the circumstances outlined. Make use of it to get the house in order. I don't mean to sound harsh. If you're straight with them now you should be able to get the farm to a position where little and often on paperwork will keep you right. If stuff compounds you could find yourselves with all sorts of penalties and hassle. If you can post here you can use agfood.

Don't delay with the calf registrations now that bvd tags have been sent off..very easy to be in late reg territory if the tissue samples are gone...
