That's my gym expanding team, you never see a Dragonite or a Snorelax as the weakest poke, so you don't need your team to be able to fight them.

Also you can add 50 spaces for just 200 coins.

For taking gyms, I use:
A Jynx for Dragnoites.
And a Hitmonlee for Snorelaxes
Neither of these guys can beat a 1800+ by themselves but with active dodging, they can do serious damage.

Well I've already transferred them so there's no way to get them back now. And I'm not gonna waste Eevee candies to try evolving like a 900CP Jolteon, when I can evolve like a 1,400CP Jolteon instead :pac:

I haven't seen a wild Electabuzz in a ages, and if I do hatch one from an egg it will be most likely 1,100CP+. So really I'm stuck with my 500CP Pikachus for water pokes if it's anything lower than 1,100CP. I have a 900CP Weepinbell but it has poision moves not grass moves

I've upgraded my storage like 4 or 5 times but I'm still running out of space because I keep loads of Pidgeys, Rattatas, Weedles, Caterpies, Drowzees, etc.. so I can do mass evolutions with a lucky egg.

Ive 97 so far, yet still no Elctrobuzz, Schyther or Clafairie...... In dublin ,Northside....any suggestions?

Ive only seen one of them spawn on Bull Island but it ran away.

It's a very interesting game from.the point of view of getting people out exercising, and since the game can be updated constantly they could really steer it in that direction.

I saw a video recently that states you should stop for a minute whenever you're turning a corner when walking the egg distance. This gives the app a chance to catch up and give you a more realistic walking rate. I threw a 10km egg in yesterday at lunchtime and at lunchtime today I have walked 9.1km. No driving or anything. Just my usual lunchtime walking.

Golduck legged it on me and Hitmonlee despawned. And the pork was mediocre. Ask in all a disappointing lunch break.

Going down to the river this evening so might get some ducks to evolve.

Who's taking videos of people driving while playing? Other drivers??
I play while driving in that the app is open and phone on my lap. Might look at it if stopped. Can chalk up a bit in traffic. I'm on my feet all day in work and don't have it open so I don't view it as cheating in that I'm easily walking miles every day that don't register.

Yeah, I always open it when driving, you get a decent distance chalked up, especially if you're stopping an starting in traffic. Same with being on a bus.

Just hatched a zubat from a 5k and another ponyta from a 5k :-(

Just randomly caught a lickatung and hadn't even seen a shadow of one til then!

Had a familiar shadow appear in my sightings so used an incense and belted it out of work for 5 mins to catch it. One razz and ultraball later I have myself a 1531 XL Snorlax. Delighted!

Hatched a Hitmonlee from my third 10k egg. Low CP as usual but came with a bag of candy so boosted it to 800. Another for the dex.

Location on the off chance its a good spot?

On that note I caught a Dratini on the Bridge between Harolds Cross and Clanbrassil St this morning....have seen it on my nearby list 3 times while on bus over last 10 days. Might be a nest spot?

Well it hatched from a 10k this time for me anyways
had two ten k's about.09 k between em, got scyther from one and exeggcute from the other!

As far as I'm aware you get 2k mons from a 2k egg. You can get 2k and 5k from a 5k egg and you can get 2k 5k and 10k from a 10k egg. Luck of the draw I guess

Just hatched a Tangela. New entry to the Pokedex

I renamed 1 Eevee to Rainer and another to Sparky several days ago and I just evolved them earlier. I renamed them well in advance hoping they would turn out right this time. What did I get?

Rainer turned into Jolteon and Sparky into Jolteon as well. I think Sparky turning into Jolteon was just a coincidence. I think it would have turned to a Jolteon regardless if I renamed it or not. So the trick definitely doesn't work for everyone. It worked the 1st time I did the evolutions of each, but it hasn't worked right since.

Same happened ro me over the weekend. Hoped for 3 lovely versions of each. Renamed as per the trick and restarted game.
Renaming trick didnt work for Pyro....so now I got the 1605 Vaporeon I had planned and 2 more I hadnt planned (1510 and 1406 so a pretty good 'mistake')
Could do with a high CP Flareon, currently those 3 Vaporeon are my 3 highest. (Just about to hit level 21)

That thing about being able to hatch 2km Pokemon from 5km & 10km eggs was debunked. Or at least Niantic fixed it. You must have thought you had a 10km but hatched a 2 and a 5 instead. You can't get a zubat or Exeggecute from a 10km egg. Google it.

The evee trick you can only rename 1 pokemon at a time, ensuring none of your other pokemon have the same or any of the other 2 names.

It's been mentioned at least 20 times throughout this thread.

I've caught a few between ha'penny and millennium bridge on the north side of the Liffey.
