Fantastic time, fantastic run, so unlucky. But as we saw with Rob Heffernan, he might get a medal down the line.

It was just that this was a much tougher race than the semi, he ran in an almost identical fashion

Fair play what a run. 4th has got to hurt but a great performance. Breaking 48 is incredible!

    0.05 of a second

World class athlete. He's done magnificently well. Inches away from a medal. Fantastic burst at the finish, just had a bit too much to do.

Two more strides and he had bronze. Five more and silver. 5/100 of a second. Can't even type a full stop in that time.

Sure one of the top 3 will fail a drug test at some stage anyway and he will get his bronze :D

He ran a great race too, it was just that he found the leaders harder to rein in here than in the semi

What is his 400 flat PB?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,920 ✭✭✭Joeface

google says 46.97..indoor , only one second slower with hurdles in the way

He has some finishing kick. Seems to just lack a dash of tactical speed. I imagine if there was a 420m hurdles race he'd be a definite candidate for gold!
