I don't understand all the Eevee hate. I got 2 in eggs last night so I had enough candie in the end to evolve 3 of my Eevees. One of those evolves ended up being a 97.7% Flareon so thank God for Eevees!!

I get hardly any Eevees so I only have Vaporeon at the moment.

I get loads of Drowzees, Pidgeys, Zubats and Ratattas.

Caught a 1290 Golduck sitting at my desk a half hour ago, not too bad!

I'm in the City a lot and around the Quays and this is what I mostly get

I don't mind the Magikarps at all since I can evolve them into Gyarados but the Pidgeys, Rattatas and Drowzees I pretty much only catch for the xp

I'd say those 4 make up a good 35 - 40% of my total pokemon caught

Yeah I would love to see a breakdown of everything caught so far, pidgey rattata nd drowzee all the way

How do you work out the % on how good your IVs are? I've seen the calculator, but all it gives is ranges. How are some people landing on exact %, like the 97.7% Flareon mentioned above?

Also, just hatched a Nidoran from a 5k and it has a CP of 483, yet the Nidoran I already have which has a lower CP (436), is further along on the CP arc..... Does that mean the hatched one has better IVs?

I like them too, but the only problem is that half the gyms in Dublin have a poxy Vaporeon in them.

I want to get into a red gym and it's something like level 8. It's about 10k of prestige to get an extra space, the level meter to go up another level is right at the bottom. Would I be better off getting someone on a different team to knock it down to a level 7 before I try and up the prestige?

I'm close to my 2nd Gyarados. Unfortunately strongest is only 175. I've already powered up my 1st Gyarados to around 1900CP and the 175 will only evolve to around 1900CP as well. So I think I'm gonna hold off evolving it until I find a stronger one

Highest I got was 147. Haven't seen anything higher since evolving and have caught another 20 or 30 since then....

Any issues with softbans as you have to sign in with google+ or poke trainer ID. Hence tying its use to your account?

Cheers for that, I was using the sliphroad IV calculator. But it shows 3 IV percentages (Battle rating, CP, Stamina) so not as easy to just state 1 figure.
It also gives you a description;
"Thats a decent mon"
"That pretty good, not perfect but a good fighter"
"Oh no, trainer, send this to the Prof"

Silphroad system seem to think if one of the 3 % is under 60vI think, I didnt take notes.
Although to be honest I only looked at my top 8-10 pokemon. So not a good spread of data.
My 2 magikcarp at least got over 65-70 is all stats.....just need 200 candy!
Need to sit down for an hour and go through them properly.

So today I hatched a 1100+ Electabuzz from a 10km egg. I haven't found one in the wild so that was cool! After walking on a bit, I found a Grimer in the wild. Haven't had one of those at all so that's two added to the pokedex!! Pretty happy with that. Also I replaced that egg with another 10km egg and after this one is hatched I have yet another 10km egg! I'm level 21 (Mystic team) and although I do take that it's random when it comes to eggs, I'm pretty stoked that the last three 10km eggs I've hatched have been replaced with 10km eggs

On the bus, an electabuzz popped up between two lure moduled pokesstops. Couldn't click on him as it just kept going into the stop. Infuriating. Good thing I got one from an egg recently

I started catching Pidgees, weedles and caterpies again as I think I need to level up a bit if I ever want to see a high CP Pokémon. I'm not sure why I care as the gyms don't interest me but I have CP envy.

What use is HP exactly? An tSeansaí is a beast for the HP but had no CP at all.

HP is Hit Points i.e. how many hits it can take before it faints during a battle

Good as a gym holder I think, can absorb the attacks while dealing lots of low damage.

Went into Merrion Square today. I seem to be cursed every time I go into town. All I caught was a Bellsprout and took a gym for 3 minutes

60 goddam eggs and I still only had 1 10k.
