Just got my 5th Eevee from a 10km egg :(

I did pick up two new ones, still waiting on Lapras or Aerodactyl

Just got an 842 Ponyta from a 5km egg. Quite happy with that as it's the first one I've seen. Don't know where I'll get the candy to evolve it though :D

I've got a few Ponytas from 5km eggs (and caught a handful in Greystones) so keep hatching them 5kms. I have a CP1100 or so Rapidash now, yet to try him out in battle though.

Any idea why a level 22 trainer is hatching and catching higher cp pokemon than a level 23 trainer? For example level 22 highest cp pokemon is over 2000, and mine is a smidge over 1600!

In the last three days ive hatched three ten k eggs, two onix (482cp and 425cp) and one electrobuzz(1060cp), in total from ten k eggs now ive hatched four onix, four electrobuzz, a scyther and a zubat.

How does the method work? You keep going until the Poke drops off the Sightings list then keep going in a circle to find the outside spawn radius?
No circles, walk in straight lines. When it appears in your sighting you have entered the 200m circle. Note your location. Keep walking straight until it disappears, you have reached the other end of the circle. Head back halfway to where you first saw it in Sightings.
Once here you can then either left or right of your original path of travel, you will either lose it on your Sightings list or it will pop up on the map.

Obviously this method assumes you are in an open area with no buildings, roads, walls blocking your path.

I've only had one 10km egg, level 19. Pretty frustrating.

Check out the airports! I didn't have much luck in Schipol cause I kept losing my GPS. I was outside Tenerife airport for about 2 hours and caught a few Digletts (my first ones) and Voltorbs and Magnemites. I was also stuck in Funchal airport for three hours, by sheer luck right beside a stop where someone had placed a lure. I can't remember what I caught but good ones, Pikachus, Squirtles, etc.

Same as. I checked out the area I am going to on Pokevision when it was around and there were quite a number of Ekans by the pool area... hoping there is still something similar happening there.

I'm level 10 and I've 4 of them, I think I've hatched one before too though. I mostly seem to get 5 and 10 kilometre ones.

Yeah, it does seem to be random. I am wondering about the Pokestops I pick the eggs up from. I only spent one day playing in Dublin city centre, which was around the time I picked up the 10km egg. I usually play in Bray or Greystones. Always 5km and 2km eggs.

What are they like as areas for pokemon?
I went to Dun Laoighre pier Sunday morning and had a field day from a double lure, a lapras, ninetails and manky, all new things for me!

Very varied, but plagued with Drowzees, Rattatas, Zubats, Pidgeys, Spearows, Caterpies and Weedles. On the Marine Road in Greystones I've picked up Growlithes, Ponytas, Exeggecutes, Pikachus, Squirtles, Charmanders, Geodudes, Machops, Cubones, Psyducks, Poliwags and maybe a few others. Always an interesting walk that one. Loads of stops and two gyms and often lures placed. Bray is much of the same old water types.

Slowly working my way from level 18 to 19, gonna save up a load of common things for evolving. Really sucks being out in the countryside for this, takes a long time to get anything to show up.

Do a loop, from the station past the park, hit up two stops there, then down to the south beach and there's two more stops and a gym there; then there's a loop I do that passes about 8 more stops and a gym and that's the road I find most of my fun Pokemon on. It's about 3km back to the station again. There's also a Pokemon gym at the Happy Pear, and there's actually another one on what was the Beach Road before all the work on the harbour started. Yet to work out how on earth people get to that gym, without breaking into the building site, or walking on the dart line.

Agreed, lucky to live where I do. I visited my ma back in her godforsaken backend of nowhere and there was nothing. On the plus side my Lapras stayed in the gym for 8 days, handy coins while I was on holiday!

Ach, went into town tonight and have just seen on Facebook there was a Charizard 200m from my house earlier.

Got a Growlithe and evolved a Venomoth and Arbok at least.

It's been less than a week and I've managed to evolve another Gyrados. He weighs less than a Magikarp though.

I saw my first Gyrados in a Schipol airport gym on the 6th of August. Saw a few in gyms around Madeira but then they do seem to spawn Magikarps all over the island. Got home on the 15th and saw some in the local Wicklow gyms. A weeks seems to be a long time to be out of the Pokemon loop!

I think I know where to catch the carp now. I'll need about 95 though. Diaradós, here I come!

It's a long way to Funchal, and landing on the island is touch and go, but if my data hadn't cost me a bomb, I'd have a Diaradós by now meself!

Magikarps often appear in Greystones too.

Today I evolved a Gyarados 1670CP and a Sandslash 1041CP and caught a Voltorb and Exeggcute ..... None of which I had.

I've 102 and am level 25. My highest CP is a Lapras 1869CP. Not bad so far.
